Stopped off at Bluewater on our way from Cambridge to London and looked for a place to eat. The shopping centre was extremely busy and we noticed long lines at a few other places (we'd waited until 3:30pm in the hope that crowds would disperse back into the shops). While there was a line at ASK Italian, we were a party of two and were seated immediately. I mentioned a food allergy and they provided me with the allergy menu and explained how to read it, serving us complimentary lemonade. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, the lighting and gentle, rustic Italian scenes on the walls adding to the cozy vibe. We tried the Strawberry Burst mocktail, which was refreshingly tangy and minty with a gentle fizz. We appreciated the offer of non-alcoholic drinks too. We enjoyed the Trio of Arancini and Mushrooms Al Forno to start. The Arancini were fantastic, well-balanced flavours and cooked perfectly. The Mushrooms Al Forno were a little disappointing in appearance but had a great flavour, particularly combined with the garlic mayo. For the mains, we ordered the Caesar Classica salad and the King Prawn Tagliatelle. The dressing on the salad tasted a little sour and, compared with salads in our homeland of Canada, wasn't what we were expecting, though the chicken and lettuce were tasty. The Tagliatelle was excellent, prawns cooked perfectly and evidence of real fresh tomatoes in the sauce. Overall, a very pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff who were attentive to my food allergy (I particularly enjoyed my dishes being marked with 'made with your allergy in mind' stickers) and a very pleasing meal.

I’ve been to Ask Italian Bluewater a few times now and have always enjoyed their consistent quality of Italian cuisine upon each visit. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, attentive, and helpful which inspires a calming atmosphere amidst the hustle and bustle of Bluewater shopping centre. The food is well made with clean tasting flavours and a healthy variety of options. I recommend the newly improved Lasagne Grande and, if you’re in need of a little spice, ask for some chilli infused olive oil to pour on top. I’ve been craving this ever since trying it a few days ago! Of course, you cannot go wrong with their tiramisu for dessert although all their desserts are uniquely Italian rather than generic in both their flavour and plating style. Overall there is something for everyone to enjoy and I highly recommend a visit!

If you fancy Italian food the ask italian is a good option. The food was alright, the dough of the pizza was thin and crunchy. The bruschetta was slightly burnt. The staff was very attentive and the service was quick. Recommended.

ASK Italian in Bluewater is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting – a place you just want to keep coming back to. Even though I’m not a big fan of shopping malls, I’d gladly return just for this restaurant. The service was top-notch, and our waitress, Dominika, was incredibly friendly and professional. The food? Simply outstanding! The pizza was crispy and full of flavor, the stuffed mushrooms were delicious, and the brownie with ice cream was a dream. I also treated myself to a Passion Fruit Martini, which was absolutely divine. But the biggest surprise was their homemade lemonade – fresh, refreshing, and simply perfect. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for not only great Italian food but also an exceptional atmosphere and excellent service. I will definitely be back!

Located in the busy food area of Bluewater this restaurant has a large open fronted seating area looking out into the main complex. Your greeted by friendly staff who positioned us in a booth to the front of the premises. Seats were comfortable and spacious and tables and menus clean with no concerns noted or seen. The menu choices are good and children’s menu have set prices with a good choice of items. Starters were quick to arrive and all food arrived in good time and hot. 5* service from the staff who were keen to assist and provided a friendly and enjoyable meal. The only thing that lets this place down is not being able to accept Tesco Clubcard vouchers. CHECK BEFORE as there’s nothing of note or mention from staff about this until it’s time to pay. From reviews, many people have come into issues with this, having to pay out for a meal the they expected to be practically free. As long as know this then this is a perfect place to take small families and young children for a bite to eat. Overall an enjoyable meal

Great place, great food! Went with kids and thoroughly enjoyed it! Asked for penne Arrabiata, not on the menu, was gladly made and presented. Our waitress Martha was very patient, helpful and always serving with a smile. Would not hesitate to go back again and would recommend everyone!

Went back and had the mains tried the had the purple pesto tagliatelle with mushrooms added and prawn, crayfish tagliatelle. Both were good but pesto tagliatelle was the one to beat! The server advised some chicken dishes are halal but we didn’t go for this - I’d clarify with the staff before going for it yourself. Brilliant service again! ____ Popped in for dessert and drinks yesterday - what a treat! Ordered the etna and grand profiterole both were so rich and luxurious. Only comment I’d made is the profiterole perhaps didn’t need so much cream under it as it got a little soggy, the filling and sauce poured on top where amazing however!!! A proper midweek treat! The apple and elderflower sparkling drink and the raspberry lemonade were both great! We also had a pot of mint tea. Would

I visited alone at around 8pm midweek and had great service from the Ask Italian team. Food was served quickly, plus fantastic quality and nothing I needed was too much trouble. A complimentary lemonade was a nice touch and although my visit was towards the end of the day, I did not feel rushed. Look forward to returning to sample more of the menu soon

Best out-of-this-world pasta/Italian food? Probably not! But, I just love this Ask Italian outlet because it is just so family friendly! We are greeted with a small shot glass of homemade lemonade. The children’s menu is absolutely fantastic especially because it includes vegetables in the price as well. When a restaurant take cares of the children menu, you know they’ll take care of the adults too. There’s a toilet within the facilities of the restaurant so we didn’t have to venture out in the mall to find out. I would come back here again.
