I paid £12 for a full English breakfast and it was disgusting the sausages are over fried the mushrooms looked like yesterday's and the hash browns tasted of just oil the bacon looked that under done you could have revived the pig it came of I would avoid this place if you want a nice breakfast

Absolutely disgusting food, the scrambled eggs were in solid chunks, inedable no butter on the toast.

Ordered feta salad , the lettuce was full of water , 6 half slices of tomato same with cucumber . Sliced egg and a few cubes of cheap tasteless feta . Won't be returning

The food I had was okay. The side salads are very small (which suited me as I don't eat that much anyway) and not very appetising looking. The staff can be a bit off hand, perhaps they are just very busy? The main door kept on blowing open and letting in the chilly wind. It did not have any kind of automatic sprung closer attached to it. I was sat right in the cold draft it let in and I had no choice but to put my hat and coat back on. The staff did not seem to notice or care?

Very reasonable prices for Marple (2x toasted sandwiches, 2x drinks + 1x chips = £14). Service was quick and friendly, and without any fuss. Very elderly friendly (even though I don't count myself as such) although there are a couple of steps between the top and lower sections, and the entrance is in the top section, and the toilet is in the lower section.

I nip in here for breakfast once a month. Service good, food good. Just disappointing that for some reason mushrooms means 1 and tomatoes means a slice. Most cafés now believe this.

Popped in for a quick breakfast. Bacon barm cooked exactly as I asked and as I asked for strong tea they left the tea bag in which meant it was just as I like it. Spotlessly clean, lovely staff. Also HALF THE PRICE of The Locks at the end of the street!

Had a quote on quote “mega breakfast” today, was nothing short of an average breakfast, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 toast, egg cup of beans , 2 hash browns, 7 pound very expensive for what it is…….. save your self 3 pound and go down the road to Claudios

Excellent local café, great food and friendly staff. Mega breakfast is mega, Grilled chicken salad is very tasty, as too are the omelettes. My 10 year old son always has the burger and tells me it's awesome and loves the milkshakes. There is also a kids corner with colouring books and crayons.
