   Thoroughly enjoyed my dinner with my mum at Zizzi’s in Lakeside. Our server Jacek couldn’t have done more for us if he tried. Speedy, efficient with all the time in the world and all the answers to our questions. We would come back just for the service provided by him! Wonderful food, a wonderful midweek treat before Christmas. Excellent!

   We are Vegans and served by Jacek. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. Although he was serving several tables he made us all feel welcome and special. The menu was good. More vegan mains could be added (bring back the vegan lasagna). However, the chef made some adjustments to improve our already vegan dishes. Excellent team of professionals!

   The summer special, the King Prawn Vongole, was a highlight of the meal and truly lived up to expectations—it was deliciously flavorful and cooked to perfection. The starter, King Prawn Spidini, was equally delightful, bursting with taste and expertly prepared. The staff were very friendly and attentive, showing great attention to detail and ensuring that every aspect of our meal was enjoyable. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning for more of their fantastic dishes!

   Only filling out this review as Google sent me a notification asking how my visit was. Visited the restaurant last weekend with my family for dinner. Was seated then waited twenty minutes before deciding to leave as nobody acknowledged us at all once we were seated and a drinks order wasn't even taken during this time. We eventually left and had dinner at Ask Italian instead, where the service was quick and the food was excellent.

   A number of items were unavailable but didn't really affect my ordering. Had the lamb and tomato rigatoni but was left somewhat disappointed with the dish, it felt as though flavour was neglected with little to no herbs or spices added as if the flavour of lamb would be enough but my partner enjoyed her meal and I considered it better than mine also

   I don’t often leave reviews but the service I experienced today was amazing. We came for my sister’s birthday and our waitress Sandra (usually works at the Hornchurch branch) went above and beyond. We were quite a lot of people (14) but she was so patient and made us feel so welcome, and her energy was amazing! My sister felt special and that’s all I could ask for, and I genuinely can’t wait to come again. The kids menu was great and one of the best I’ve seen, and the food was delicious (compliments to the chef of course!). I want to say a special thank you to Sandra for making our day so special, she definitely deserves praise because good service makes all the difference. Another thank you to Sophia as well for making everything very seamless and giving us good service. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come again.
