Sadly these days there is not a bargain to be had full wardrobe fittement seperated and sold individually adding up to £560 dining suites tables and chairs sold separately these £200. things are being sold at nearly retail value . It has turned customers away people can buy cheaper elsewhere £30 for a cage that can be bought new at pets at home for £20 more toy popcorn machine £50 come on Michelle it’s a charity shop not an upmarket shop I know it’s charity but it’s also where people come who can’t afford retail prices . Yesterday 2 bed side tables painted white had been seperate at £30 each who wants to buy one ? And £60 for both is extortion when good people have given them away free so you can make a small profit and the buyer gets a bargain .

Great cafe upstairs, but has a lift. Very reasonable prices for coffees, snacks or full breakfast etc. Also they have a large selection of books. Ground floor is all things charity shop.

We love it here. The food and drinks are tasty and inexpensive, they sell amazing cakes and it's great for my one year old.

If you're thinking about getting new furniture I would definitely check out this place first. Very reasonable prices that always reflect the condition of the furniture- of which the condition is usually great. There's also a delivery service which is immensely helpful. I'm not sure if there's a charge for it although I would imagine it's nominal. The cafe upstairs is lovely too. Very reasonably priced and a great selection of drinks and food. The choices range from snacks and cakes through to meals so there's something to satisfy whatever mood you're in. All raising money for such a great place in the hospice too.

I must admit, I too have noticed bad attitude in the staff here at the CHARITY shop & the increase of priced goods! I've always donated here, & will continue to do so, it is a great charity after all. Think sometimes they need to keep the price tag down so more items sell ( quick turn around ) of donated items. I understand money has to be raised, however, people are bringing items into this shop all the time with out charge, so at least they could keep the price tag available for the less fortunate people of the North West.
