“I was there the other Saturday with a friend from work we called in for a catch up good atmosphere friendly staff and the pubs layouts nice back garden is all done up all round good experience TVs all round the place and a pool table if that is your thing great boozer well recommended.”

“It nice to see local communities having somewhere safe to have refreshments, and whilst we were there we saw lots of young mothers and babies. There's also young youths calling in but no trouble at all! Bring a well behaved pet with you.”

“What a gem of a place. This is one of the most authentic and pleasent Italian places I had the pleasure to eat at in a very long time. Let's say that if I lived in theare me and my girlfriend would most definitely weight a few more stones/Kgs. As well as the food it is cosy, attentive stuff, quick enough service (to not make you think they want you out of the door) definitely a must try.... Book of you can as space is limited.”

“Another terrific trip to Gladstone. It was my wife’s birthday and she had specifically requested a family meal to enjoy the epic Sunday Roasts on offer here. Hannah was attentive throughout our visit and gave excellent service. The food was amazing with great portions and excellent quality overall. The Sticky Toffee Pudding sadly defeated me.. We look forward to another trip in the future.”

“An amazing place set in the heart of Stalybridge Tameside! Just winning an award for best currie house in the north west ! The venue is truly beautiful attention to detail , seating fantastic & very cozy & relaxing! Service is cool 10/10 ! The food is amazing and the menu is easy to follow full of choice enjoy the pictures and go there your self !”

“A lovely traditional park with lots to see and do. The park has good play areas for the little ones which includes a water fountain play area in the summer months. A lovely coffee shop in the centre of the park with an ice cream van present near the play areas for most of the warmer months. There are also bowling greens, a duck pond and aviary with various types of birds to look at. Worth a visit if you're in the area and an excellent way to kill a few hours for free.”

“Great cafe upstairs, but has a lift. Very reasonable prices for coffees, snacks or full breakfast etc. Also they have a large selection of books. Ground floor is all things charity shop.”

“If you're thinking about getting new furniture I would definitely check out this place first. Very reasonable prices that always reflect the condition of the furniture- of which the condition is usually great. There's also a delivery service which is immensely helpful. I'm not sure if there's a charge for it although I would imagine it's nominal. The cafe upstairs is lovely too. Very reasonably priced and a great selection of drinks and food. The choices range from snacks and cakes through to meals so there's something to satisfy whatever mood you're in. All raising money for such a great place in the hospice too.”

“Lorraine and the girls behind the bar are fab. Been drinking here for years, always worth the money. Great place to go as a couple too, never any trouble and great to see the bags of pork scratchings are back!!”

“Excellent service all round. Restraunt area full but spaces available in the bar area. Well worth a visit. Pensioner portions are the correct size and not over facing you. Meals delicious. Staff very warm and welcoming. Ample parking.”
