A very handy cafe for coffee or food after a walk around Clifton Country Park. There are leaflet guides for local walks.

Lovely park Decent priced cafe Easy to navigate Scenic I recommend Its got a beautiful marina and its a park you can easily make either a casual short walk or can head into drinkwater or worsley woods and really make a marathon walk it caters well to both Also a very good spot midweek for running as its quite and very well tarmacked for the knees and ankles for runners whilst being scenic

This cafe has been good in the past but the coffee was not a full cup, didn't taste that good (Salford leisure facilities use the same type & it's nice coffee when machine used correctly). I say correctly because the hot chocolate was like water with a teaspoon of chocolate powder mixed in. To the point where I should really have taken it back, but it's so busy in there & not sure the person serving was embracing that well

Usually this Cafe is spot on! But today 19/11/22, what a nightmare. Queue wasn’t to long which usually takes 2 mins max to clear but the person working spent 50% of their time complaining to everyone and when finished serving one person would casually take a minute or two before serving the next person even when noticing there’s a huge queue of people getting quite frustrated, I was stood in this queue for 5-10 mins before I was served and there were only 3 people in front of me each only got a coffee. I got to the front of the queue wondering why everyone in front of me was complaining and tutting. I asked for a toastie and was informed there was none till tomorrow, I then asked for a different toastie and was informed none are available till tomorrow, I then asked if I could have one of the 20 toasties that where on the side and was informed that they were defrosting for tomorrow, I then asked for a panini and was informed they are also defrosting for tomorrow, I then asked for a soup and was informed there was no soups, I then asked for buttered toast as I seen 1 loaf of bread on the side, i was informed the bread wasn’t available till tomorrow as it was defrosting, I then asked for crumpets and was informed they are also not available until tomorrow when they have defrosted. All items where visible on the side and I politely asked if they would defrost some bread or anything in the microwave for me and I got a Saturn “no” and I left. The worst bit was that all the food I asked for was out on the side in abundance, I understand that it need defrosting but surely this could of been done earlier or at least not right under our noses. It didn’t help neither that the persons attitude was not so great towards customers. As said above this is a one off, as I come here most weekends and it’s usually spot on. I think this day may be down to the person serving as I had not seen them before. I suggest possibly putting a sign out front stating there is no hot food available so people don’t queue up and end up disappointed.

This is a small cafe with tables to sit on both indoors and outdoors. There is a public bathroom here. I came to but a drink twice and met a really nice person who served me with kindness and care. The place was clean and tidy. It is right next to the main car park, and is wheelchair accessible.
