I ordered sandwich platter for small group size, lovely quality small soft baguettes, thank you for service, saved the day as the supermarkets were all out of stock
We visited on Saturday(20th December )afternoon for the first time after moving to Wilmslow over 2 years ago. There were only 3 tables occupied at the time with the rest of the tables full of dirty plates/cups/etc which wasn’t great. We ordered food and coffees at the counter then asked for some serviettes to clean a table ourselves so we could sit down at a ‘clean table’. We took about 25mins to finish our food and drinks,during which time none of the tables were cleaned. There were 4 members of staff chatting in the kitchen,obviously not interested in tidying up. It’s a nice place so seems a shame that the staff don’t seem interested in keeping the place tidy. A smile would be nice as well when ordering and being served.
Staff were very friendly & welcoming, and promptly took our order. The drinks took a little longer to come than expected, it wasn't busy so thought it a little strange. The drinks order was wrong at first, but this was quickly rectified. Latte was a little weak. Cakes were delicious!
Ordered a Mocha Delice, which, for the price was abit steep at 4,40. The Chicken mayo Baguette at 8.45 was very good size for value. Crispsserved with Baguette. A group of youn ladies with pleasant attitude and smiles top Customer service. All in all a good experience thank you.
Usually good but this time was turned away at 3pm for a take out order one person was ready to serve us but another lady said kitchen was closed. When it's meant to be open until 4pm
Great place for a cafe style drink and baguette. French style and tons of choice. Reasonable prices and brilliant service. Plenty of cake choice for the cake lovers. Super tasty baguettes. Great for breakfast. Super friendly and helpful staff. Very popular so can get busy but service is still speedy. Recommend for all ages. No car park but plenty of free on street parking
You CANNOT sit down whilst waiting on coffees. Not even outside when it’s quiet. Wife dropped me off in Wilmslow to catch a train, we saw this place that thought we’d grab takeaway coffees and pastries on the way to the train station. I was carrying two big bags and getting in everyone’s way, so I took the pastries outside and left my wife inside waiting on the coffees. Outside I put my bags down, sat down at one of the small tables outside (which were all unoccupied apart from one), and had a quick nibble of one of the pastries. My wife emerged moments later saying the the man serving us had confronted her accusing her of lying about saying we wanted take out, and telling her we’d now have to pay more! She replied that we were still waiting on our take out coffees and had no intention to sit in. He returned that we were not allowed to sit down anywhere. Left us with a very sour taste in our mouth, which was a shame as the coffee and pastries were delicious. There’s never a need to be rude and accusatory to customers who have just spent money on expensive food and drink. Good quality coffee and pasties, but quite pricey and tone deaf customer service. Three stars.
Most delicious pastries I have ever had, including on the Continent. Strong good coffee too. Polite and quick service.
Great coffee. Nice hot chocolate. Food tasted fresh. Will visit again.
Lovely french cafe, yummy desserts, freshly baked croissants, definitely going there again ☺️
