I had a great experience with Gostos’s friendly staff and delicious food especially their burgers. I would highly recommend it to people looking for high quality food in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
Me and my friend travelled from Walsall to try this place! The food was delicious, reasonably priced and the staff were so welcoming and lovely. 100% recommend and would come here again anytime!
I am a vegetarian and hence it skipped 5 stars. Dinner for 2. Course - 2 course. Ambience and seating - good. Cost £20. Good pizza. Chips were a bit rubbery but tasted well overall with unlimited drinks! It has a NHS discount and wonderfully welcoming staff. The chicken meal eaten by my better half was a 5 star meal!
We had Sunday lunch with some friends in Gostos, Newcastle Under Lyme. This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and staff are very welcoming. Most of our group ordered a their Peri chicken dish where as I tried their grilled salmon. It was really tasty and well presented. The chef served some of our dishes and topped up our salads with his amazing salad cream. Everything tasted really nice. We thought the dishes were reasonably priced.
Food looks great but the taste does not match. The burgers contained far too much filling (peppers onions tomatoes in wholesale quantities, cheap mayonnaise in gallons) the whole thing just fell apart and had to eat the bits with a knife n fork, the steak burger was dry almost like popcorn beef. The mojito well it was more like a lemonade slushy than a cocktail. The chops were good and the fererro Roche shake was not bad.
Fantastic choice of food and taste was so fresh and amazing. Make sure that you take cash as they still don't provide electronic transactions. Atmosphere is great, customer service is nice too. Will be going again no doubt. So you should try as well. Car park is at the rear.
Great food and a lovely welcoming atmosphere, the service is always good when ever we come here. They have a separate desert bar too if you only want to go in for a desert.
