   I take no joy in leaving this negative review because, up until now, I've received good food and service. However, tonight (03.12.25) the food I received was substandard! House special chow mein (£12.50 delivered, this included a can of soda to make up the minimum delivery charge); the chicken and pork was tough, chewy and unpleasant. Upon eating the food, I called the takeaway 9 times (see attached screenshot) to complain but no answer and then I had little or no option but to continue with the meal. I called again later, the call was answered and I politely complained about the quality of the food. I'll cut a long story short and the takeaway was dismissive of my complaint but offered me a 20% discount on my next order. I declined it stating it's a disgrace and informed them they have lost a loyal customer. I guess they are not bothered about an individual complaint but I want others to judge this takeaway on this experience. This review and account is 100% accurate and truthful. Further to this, I hope the owner remembers the numerous times I have called and praised the food?

   Absolutely lovely food and store, staff are super friendly and welcoming. The food always arrives on time and the salt and pepper options are amazing. My family all order from here and have never had a bad experience with timings or with quality.

   Exceptional takeaway. I’ve been going to Tasty Wok for quite a while. It never disappoints. The quality of the food is always consistent, tasty and the best takeaway I’ve been in stoke on Trent. Staff are very friendly. The owner she will always make you feel special. She will always accommodate any dietary needs and nothing is too much trouble at all. I would totally recommend you going tasty wok it’s well worth it.

   The food here is absolutely amazing. It's the best around stoke on trent. We travel from Cheshire just because it's mega nice. The food tastes great with lots of flavour. It's always hot, even with the long drive. The staff are really friendly and always remember my name. I really would not go anywhere but here!

   First time ordering, food came in 30 minutes or less. All fresh and fantastic. Best salt and pepper chips, chow mein and crispy beef I’ve had in Staffordshire. You can pay card at your door if needed they bring a card machine.

   Another takeaway like all the others that give you a time and then can't deliver. Phoned after an hour, was told 10 mins, 10 mins came and went. Phoned back and cancelled. Sick to death of take aways round here that just can't be bothered with customer service. My advice of you order pay at the door and cancel if they are late. They say 5 minutes late but initially said 45-1 hour. Then 10 minutes and it finally got refused later than that so it wasn't 5 minutes late.

   First time we’ve ordered from Tasty Wok as we are passing through on a narrowboat. Absolutely delicious, the 3 of us agreed it was the best Chinese we’ve had in a very long time. Highly recommend, do not pass through without ordering from these people!

   Absolutely amazing service! First time ordering from the restaurant as my partner and I are currently staying at Stoke hospital and fancied some good Chinese food. Ordered online with my bill coming to £15.40 so it's a reasonable price for beef fried rice, chips and curry sauce. After ordering I received a call from the restaurant and a very nice lady let me know that their card machine wasn't working so I used sumup to pay online. Very nice delivery driver and excellent service all round, not to mention the food was nice and hot with tasty chips and perfectly cooked beef fried rice. We both will definitely be ordering again because it's 100% worth it!
