Delicious coffee served by the friendly staff. Good selection of hot and cold drinks including seasonal drinks. Located right in the city center, so no parking available. Relatively spacious but might have issues finding a table if it’s a busy time. Overall nice place to grab a coffee.
The service was perfect from Jon, my lychee lemonade came really quickly and my friend’s smoothie too. Very polite and speedy service from Jon! And minimal interruption from our work (great place to study) Thank you Jon!

No matter how hectic my shifts get, I can always rely on Jon and Lucinda for exceptional service. They’re friendly, efficient, and consistently go above and beyond to make sure everything is spot on. Their customer service is genuinely some of the best I’ve experienced—warm, attentive, and always welcoming. It makes a huge difference when you’re grabbing a coffee in a rush or after a long shift. Great team, great atmosphere, and great coffee. Highly recommend!
I visited Black Sheep Coffee on Deansgate this evening and was served by John, who greeted me with a warm, friendly smile. The service was impressively quick, and my coffee was rich, smooth, and full of flavour — one of the best I’ve had recently. The welcoming atmosphere, combined with John’s efficiency and positive attitude, made the visit a real pleasure. Highly recommended.
Nice atmosphere, good coffee and cake. Soft caramel on the millionaires shortbread (and a good layer of chocolate). My partner enjoys the turmeric latte here too.
Got the most delicious blueberry bakewell and a tasty chai coffee and didn’t regret them one bit! Mega fast friendly service with a smile and a really laid back ambience whilst sitting watching the world go by. And very handy for the shops too!
Not convinced by this place. The vibe is ‘take-away coffee shop’, the price is however pitched toward premium coffee shop (which this falls quite short of.) Chalk board menus do nothing to manage expectation. Hygienically, the cakes are uncovered. Multiple flies had the pleasure of crawling all over the baked goods. Having seen this, I opted for fresh waffles. These ‘Norwegian’ waffles took quite long to prepare and were served in a ‘street food’ cone. Again, having an indoor seated area, I was expecting plated food to be eaten in a civilised way. The coffee (almond latte) was also nothing special. The lacklustre experience continued with the bathrooms which were out of order. The staff were polite hence keeping a second star. On the whole, a miss on this visit and an unfortunate never again.
Really good coffee and pieces of cake for a great price. Also the barista was the nicest girl ever and she even remembered me the second day I went !! :)) The music and the ambience are really good too, fantastic to read while having a coffe
