Had the full English breakfast. The only thing that was anywhere hot was the sausages, everything else was tepid, also my egg yolk was a bit burst and hard. Also the staff in the kitchen very noisy. Very disappointed, will not return there again!
Where do I start? Don’t be fooled by the image below, this was without a doubt the worst meal and breakfast I have ever had. A full English breakfast?? Should have been called the half English. I noticed something was missing of mine and my friends plate when it arrived on the table. It was missing two sausages. When I questioned the server “no sausages” his reply was “no, no sausages”. No replacement, no apology, no remorse and certainly no sausages. Why was I allowed to buy a full English without being told there was something missing?? I would have not ordered this if I knew this, so I have genuinely wasted my money on this breakfast. Awful customer service, I’m glad you found it funny though and you were laughing and shouting in the kitchen over everyone. The breakfast itself was disgusting, it was barely warm, with barely edible bacon and an egg that looked like it had been sat on. Not the hangover cure I was expecting. The server also forgot to bring a round of toast out with this and instead let me a my friend share 1 between 2. I will not be visiting ever again, clear to see why nobody was in there at what should Of been a busy time on a Sunday.
Got fish chips and Mushy peas. Chips were burnt to a crisp, mushy peas were cold and Fish was hardly Luke warm. Not impressed guys. Also nobody was bothering to clear the empty tables with plates and cutlery still on there. Sorry guys, it's a big no from me.
Not been to the cafe in over a year.. Ordered a baked potato with tuna mayo and salad. The baked potato was cold, tuna mayo bland and the salad looked liked it died days before. The salad consisted of lettuce and tomatoes nothing else. I took it back, was asked if I wanted a refund or something else. Decided on something else. During the end of processing my refund I was told it would now be a 30 minute wait for my replacement food. I took the refund and left. Poor quality, no one clearly checks the temperature of food going out and then to be told I had to wait 30 minutes was just an insult. Where's the customer service? Won't be going back.
The cutlery is a disgrace, filthy and on the few occasions i go now, never have the meal i require. don't think I'll be going back . its a shame, youst to go there a lot with my late mum. Untill it Closed during the covid.
Visited 6/12 at noon Ordered two ultimate breakfasts which have previously been good. Hot chocolate and black coffee Hot chocolate was machine dispensed but luke warm Entire room seemed freezing cold (it was a cold day but there seemed to be no heating on) didn't bother taking my coat off breakfast wasn't particularly hot (but chips I ordered as a side were very hot but tasteless), bacon slices were the smallest I have ever seen, hash browns cold and tasteless, fried bread was hard and disgusting, sausages and beans were acceptable. A very cold experience, morrisons cafe breakfasts used to be brilliant but I haven't had time to visit for at least a year. Cost of living/ supply costs and utility bills have obviously hit morrisons hard, won't be returning.
Food was great and not much of a wait to say how understaffed and busy they were! The staff were absolutely amazing to say how stressed they must have been! Julie was absolutely fantastic and lovely to all customers! Thanks for a great lunch!
