   What a wonderful shop with beautiful and reasonably priced dresses and such helpful staff. 5 stars! The shop looked lovely as we walked in and had a great range of high quality dresses in all sizes. Julie was very patient and helped us with the selection and with trying on. As soon as my daughter decided on the dress she wanted, Julie called Jenny to do an immediate fitting as the prom was only a few weeks away. We were reassured that it would not be a problem for the alterations to be completed in good time. We even bought some lovely shoes to go with the dress. We had a wonderful shopping experience and the look on my daughter’s face when she saw herself in her prom dress is something I will never forget! I cannot recommend this place highly enough and we will definitely be returning here again in the future for any more big occasions! Thank you so much to both of you. X

   We shopped around for prom dresses, distressed by the extortionate price tags, so we were thrilled when we looked around Vanilla! Genuinely surprised and relieved that the prices were much lower than anywhere we have been. A great selection of beautiful dresses. Jenny and Izzy were so lovely, fitting us in at short notice, and there was no hard sell at all. But we bought! One happy teen x

   Popped into the shop today to look for a prom dress for my daughter. It was short notice but the lady that helped us, her name was Jo, was so lovely. We were made to feel completely at ease and nothing was too much trouble. The dresses were all so beautiful and there was lots of choice. Iwould definitely recommend this shop.

   I visited Vanilla for an evening outfit last Saturday. Genny couldn’t be more accommodating. First she brought so many dresses for me to try on. As I’m only 5 foot tall, the we’re all too long for me. I needed the dress for Monday, only 2 days later. The dress that I liked was tight on the chest as well. Genny oferred to alter that too. She’s a dress maker and along with her colleague they make these dresses themselves. I was really impressed. What a wonderful service. Genny pinned up the dress to my size and promised that the dress would be ready by lunch time on Monday. Later on the same day I decided to go for another dress that didn’t need alteration for some personal reasons. Genny refunded my money so gracefully and didn’t get funny for not wanting to proceed with the purchase. I’m really happy with everything from start to finish. I will definitely go back to them when I have more time. And I definitely recommend them to anyone who needs an exclusive outfit and likes to get a personal and excellent service. Thank you genny.
