The pub is under new management, they are lovely, welcoming & are making a real effort. The pub is clean, prices are cheap. Great pub.

Dirty disgusting toilets that look like they have never been cleaned. Even the toilet brush looks abused and offended. The pub smells like a sewer and needs a thorough deep clean. Has potential, but let down by its cleanliness.

Local pub offering good value drinks. Fast friendly service. Toilets need a deep clean. Live sports shown and occasional live music.

Quiet little pub, locals are friendly. Great of you want a nice quiet drink.

Honestly, the worst pub I've ever been to, myself and 5 others, traveled up from Brighton for the weekend for a lovely hike across the Peak District. went for a curry in the evening at a nearby Restaurant, instead of walking 50 mins back to our place of stay right away, we thought we'd stay in a pub for a little bit. Once we entered, the England Rugby was on one side of the pub and Man United vs. Sheffield Unites on the other. The football end was completely empty apart from us. 2 of the 6 bought a drink whilst the other four of us have a seat, within 2 minutes, the barmaid was being rude asking us to buy a drink straight away, saying it was "cheeky" of us to come in and not order. The pub owner then got involved and said, "This is a pub, not a waiting room." we left shortly after. We had planned to buy a pint and relax but having bairly being in the pub, we weren't able to relax first as we didn't realise there was a time limit. I can't help but feel this is due to us not being from the local area, as we weren't taking up any room in the pub. It ruined our night sadly, our experience of Hadfield had been lovley up until this point, would highly recommend not coming here, not unless you want your experience of the Peak District ruined by some very rude pub staff.

Great little pub and really friendly staff. I would have given 5 stars but they didn't have an accessible toilet.
