Honestly great and balanced experience, nothing to fault, the price was moderate but fair, the food was good quality enough to feel good value but nothing outstanding, she service was attentive and fast. I enjoyed the fish, they kindly swapped potatoes with fries, which were home made and absolutely perfect with the lemony and buttery sauce. I had the mussels to start, fine but nothing special. My partner had the cheese pastry, he said it was disappointing and wouldn't get that again. He however really enjoyed the steak and he knows his steaks, so said it was much higher quality than he'd expected and cooked nicely medium rare.

We visited on a Saturday and took advantage of their excellent 2 courses lunch set menu which is priced at under £20. The restaurant is on Dean Street and well situated in the heart of busy Soho. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The cuisine is French and offers a flavour of the French Bistro and Brasserie. The menu is quite extensive and offers traditional French dishes. We really enjoyed both the starters and the mains that we ordered especially the Sauteed Lamb Kidneys, the Grilled Mussels, the Beetroot Gratin. For the mains we can recommend Spinach and Mushroom Gruyere cheese open Pie, the Beef Bourguignon as well as the Pan Fried sesame crusted Tuna Steak as well as the Chargrilled Entrecote Steak. All the food was very good, being tasty, seasoned and well presented. The staff were also very friendly, efficient and helpful with the menu. The ambiance was great too not being too loud. We had a great time and will certainly revisit.

Walked in with no booking after a matinee nearby. Had the pre-theatre menu which was good value and reasonable selection on the menu. For Starters, we tried the popular choices: escargots and onion soup. The butter sauce was a bit watery and the soup not hot enough. For Mains, we had sea bass and the French steak which carried a surcharge and was a bit thin otherwise tasty. Sea bass was nicely pan fried. A good, quick meal in the theatre district!

truly exceptional experience from start to finish. Every dish was beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. The service was equally impressive. We celebrated my friends birthday, and they made it extra special. The staff as a whole were friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed genuinely passionate about both the food and the guest experience. Overall, Prix Fixe Soho delivers not only outstanding food but also a level of service that makes you feel like a valued guest. It’s a restaurant that takes pride in the details, and it shows. I’ll absolutely be back—and I’ll be recommending it to anyone looking for a special dining experience.

I loved Pierre Victor from previous visits so had a high expectation for this sister restaurant. However the restaurant did not meet the restaurant- does not have homely vibe of its sister restaurant and all the dishes we ordered were pretty salty - especially french onion soup and mussels. The crispy brie salad from the christmas menu was particularly disappointing. It’s still not a bad deal if looking affordable set menu restaurants for pre-theatre meals but I’d rather recommend Pierre Victor instead.

Although its located in a super touristic area and might look a bit like a tourist trap, this place is the total opposite. I had lunch there (menu of 2 courses in 17~ pounds). The food was really great and the service was efficient. For main I had the sea food pasta which was super great

Prix Fixe Brasserie was recommended to me by a friend, who inturn I recommended to friends to have the leaving dinner do. This is a great place to have a French meal, not too expensive and have various French dishes, starters and mains to try, vegetarian or meat dishes and do have lovely desserts and various drinks, alcoholic beverages and nice cocktails. Attentive and great service too. A great restaurant to have a meal for any occasion and ideally close to many theatres for the theatre goers who may want French cuisne on the day.

Went to this lovely French restaurant for my birthday and thoroughly enjoyed it. For dinner, a set menu of 2 courses is only £17.90 which is amazing value for a French restaurant in central London. The chicken liver starter had a great flavour profile and was perfectly saucy. The ham hock starter was yummy too and cooked wonderfully. For mains, the pork belly dish was delicious, not too fatty yet not too plain. Portions are sizeable. Intimate ambiance with dim hanging lights. Service is also immaculate. I can’t wait to go again!
