   We visited this club from Macclesfield, we had valid student identification and two identification from UNiDAYS however, they couldn’t let us enter the club. They speculated only Manchester universities which is not what they specified on their website. Completely disappointed and ended up going to their rivals.

   Honestly, feel for the bar staff here, especially on a Sunday. Watched a bartender calmly explain that the kitchen was running behind, and a few UoM students reacted like he’d just revoked their LinkedIn Premium. The poor guy was just doing his job while dealing with customers who have the social skills of damp cutlery. Manners are still free, skiing isn’t a personality trait, and being at a Russell Group uni doesn’t mean you’re above waiting for your chips.    This is probably a great place for a drink; I came for the Yorkshire pudding wrap (as advertised by the Sunday roast sign outside). The only that was available was the roast itself; my friend attempted to order off the menu, but nothing else was available. There are very limited vegetarian options. No coffee either—but £3 for granules… We passed. We waited 35-40 minutes for one roast, despite being one of the only tables. We were debating asking for a refund and getting on with our day. Then the food arrived. 7 minutes later, potatoes arrived…. The chef forgot. The nut roast was tiny and under baked on the inside. All of the vegetables were simply steamed (and some not completely) and bland. Thank god you can’t mess up potatoes. I would update your menus.

   Great service and friendly staff. I don't agree with the reviews about the bouncers underneath this one, they have always been helpful, respectful and lovely to chat to each and every time. Them just doing their job unfortunately leads to people making unfair statements. Great place, definitely recommend!

   Nice student centric pub in Fallowfield in what looks to be an old church. Was quiet when I visited since it was out of term-time. Can imagine it gets more lively when the students are around. I was drawn in by the £7.50 Sunday roasts and I was genuinely pleasantly surprised at how good it was for the money. They also have pool tables and table tennis, both of which look well looked after.

   Lovely student bar close to fallowfield campus. Solid selection of drinks on tap and cocktails. We went for their tuesday Pie and Pint deal for £6. The food was delicious and the beer garden had a lovely atmosphere
