We are Americans visiting Manchester for the holidays. The Didsbury Pub was recommended to us for dinner. We had dinner at The Didsbury Pub on Christmas Eve, and it was fantastic! Steven, our server, looked after us; he did a fantastic job. The Didsbury Pub had a Festive Menu on Christmas Eve and our compliments to the Chef. The food was delicious. The hand carved roast turkey with Yorkshire pudding was awesome. So was the Marmalade Glazed Ham Hock. And the desserts. The apple & blackberry crumble was scrumptious; as was the melting chocolate fondant. The pub is beautiful. The atmosphere was great. One of the best dining experiences in all our travels. Thank you to Steven, the Chef, and all the great people at The Didsbury Pub. I highly recommend everyone visiting Manchester to stop in and enjoy The Didsbury Pub.

The food was really gorgeous. The beef ribs sunday roast was fantastic and the beef was so fresh and tender. The service was great as well, Darcy was helpful and friendly. Would really recommend.

I booked the upstairs function room for a baby shower and was really impressed. We had the £14 per person buffet (with additional £2 tea and coffee) and the food was great, especially the cheese boards and deserts. There was actually too much for us as we had a whole separate buffet for the three gluten free guests, and all ended up taking leftovers home! The staff were helpful and attentive, providing cake stands, napkins, water jugs etc as required, even when it was super busy downstairs due to freshers week. The room was spacious with plenty of room for 20 of us (though could’ve fitted many more), had its own separate toilets, and never felt loud or disturbed by the bar customers downstairs. Altogether it was a good price for the event and I would definitely recommend The Didsbury.

The Didsbury is as iconic as it is blessed with its location and its settings. This establishment delivers food, beverage and customer service on a high level almost unrivaled. The lunches are sublime and I can’t wait for my next visit!!

Really good food, but could do with some more vegan friendly options. Ran out of dairy free milk while we were there too. But very delicious nonetheless. Plus some lovely little parks for walks after lunch.

Great service and good food. Our Sunday roasts weren't hot enough which was a shame, especially since they are no longer such good value following recent price increases. Despite these reservations this was still an easy 5 stars from me and recommended. Keep up the great work, thank you.

Lovely pub lunch with a good friend. Pleasantly surprised and the food was great!! Can’t go wrong with fish and chips! The fish wasn’t mushy inside either, chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I’ll definitely be visiting again!

Great pub, amazing food and super nice waiters!! We had the fish and chips, the fried cod was delicious and really big!! There are not many chips but since the cod is soo big it doesn't feel like a lacking. The staff is also really attentive and open to changes in the dish! Prices are more than fair given the amount and quality of the food! They offer a typical pub offer, and every week the specials change! There are calories on the menu so if you are on a diet/care about them, this pub is the place for you. I need to admit they are reeeally high, but that is normal with pub food. The desserts look unbelievable, but if you have had a main I would reccomend sharing them. The atmosphere is great for a lunch, dinner or even just for a pint. I will definitely be coming back to try their roast I really reccomend this pub to anyone looking for a upbeat, yet cozy pub in didsbury
