No food available, thankfully! What a relic of a pub this is .... broken down and tawdry. Ugh!

Lovely landlady and family. Good pint of Stout. St Patrick's Day celebrations with ribs, cabbage and spuds laid on for everyone. So friendly. Plus a lil mouser cat calls this place home.

Lovely little boozer that has dodged time and inflation to give you an unspoiled location in which you afford to drink! Traditional decor, darts and pool, bar and vault with lots of space and quiet corners. Very welcoming staff and friendly customers. And while it's not everyone's taste there's B&W photos and City memorabilia on the walls that have been there for decades from the days when the blues played at their home ground just around the corner. Definitely definitely deserves a visit. Totally genuine old English pub that has managed to escape fake gentrification. Get in there, mine's is pint a stout, thanks.

I felt like they don’t even deserve this star they were so rude and she wouldn’t let a pregnant lady use the toilet I mean come on most pregnant ladies can’t control their bladder and the fact that they wouldn’t let her use the toilet just because she didn’t buy anything saying that she is “not a paying customer” was just plane rude and disgusting.

The beating heart of Moss side. A great Manchester pub of historical significance for Man City fans in particular. The management are warm and passionate, the regulars friendly and good humoured. Whether on your own for a quick pint or in a big group you will always find someone to chat and laugh along with, as all pubs should be!
