One of the delights of Christmas season is having a nice hearty Christmas lunch. This pub provides exactly this - nicely decorated festive table with Christmas crackers, smiles, attentive service and great Christmas lunch. The choice is yours to pre-order and we started from a delicious creamy red pepper soup with a nice chilli kick and a pate with little crusty bread and salad. The main course was turkey! Served in a big Yorkshire pudding with pigs in blankets and a jug of very meaty gravy on the side. We made sure to wash it down with a bottle of red at a very reasonable price. Good variety of vegetables and lovely roast potatoes on the side. After a break, deserts followed - cheesecake with ice cream and traditional Christmas pudding. If you still have room in your stomach after this feast, you can enjoy a cup of coffee with mince pies. It’s great to have this place nearby without any need to travel into town spending more money. The portions were large and the food was tasty and well prepared so it was a great afternoon spent celebrating Christmas! Thank you very much to all staff and we will definitely be back.

Paul, Lauren and Mylo were friendly and we enjoyed the full breakfast. Overnight camper parking for Co-op live worked a treat

This lovely pub has a great atmosphere. We recently had a Bon Voyage party in their function room. The room was great, staff fantastic including landlord Paul and Alex who served the guests at the bar all night. Everyone was professional and friendly. Great pub and venue for a party. (Have not given stars for food as we did our own buffet). Would highly recommend.

Such a great pub! The girls behind the bar are always laughing, smiling and joking - all very approachable. We was made to feel very welcome by all when we went to the firework display - which was an amazing night and such value! Best pub in audenshaw hands down! My son loved it here and it has since become our new local! Great beer, great staff and a great night!

Great value in this place. The home cooked food was rich in taste, particular to the pub and hearty. Everyone said it was a great meal and the price was great. I didn't have any tea I was still stuffed from lunch.
