This pub has gone from strength to strength, the playground is such a great idea its so lovely to see all the local children having fun!! The staff go above and beyond and during a recent visit couldn't do enough for my elderly relatives who are not very mobile! Love the community spirit that the buck has!! The recent craft night was a huge success!!

Since the new landlord and landlady took over, The Buck Inn has truly transformed into a welcoming, family-friendly gem. There’s a real sense of community now, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home—whether you’re a regular or visiting for the first time. One of the best additions has to be the new park area, which is a brilliant touch for families with children. It gives the little ones a space to enjoy themselves while parents can relax nearby. The food is top-notch, with a great selection of pub classics and family favourites. Even better, the children’s meals are very reasonably priced, which is always a plus for families eating out. They recently celebrated their 1-year anniversary with Buckfest—a fantastic, family-focused music festival. With live bands, games, and activities for all ages, it was a real highlight and showed just how much thought and effort the team puts into bringing the community together. All in all, The Buck Inn has become more than just a pub—it’s a place where families can come together, enjoy good food, great entertainment, and a genuinely friendly vibe. Highly recommended!

Rick and Gemma have turned this place around. Great service by the staff and both landlord and landlady good company. Very friendly family vibe! Lately there has been a buckfest weekend where in all honesty one of the best days and nights I’ve been at . Live singers, great food and all round happy vibe. Look forward to the football season starting.

A good local pub, friendly atmosphere and busy on Saturday. Staff are quick to help with the parking system. Second time we've been in, one of the cheapest rounds in a long time too which makes it even better.

Lovely pub, found on the off chance early dinner, food was lovely and hot quality ingredients. Couldn’t fault staff friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. If visiting Manchester we would definitely visit this pub again.

This pub is a home from home. I could walk in on my own or with my partner & children and the warm reception from the exceptional staff is what makes the place my absolute fav. Can’t fault it.

Amazing pub. Nice atmosphere. Has a pool table. Staff were really friendly and toilets were very clean. Food came quickly for a table of 6 and was really tasty and of a very high standard. Football was showing on very good TVs. For a first time experience it was very impressive and I would definitely recommend . Look forward to returning.
