   Me and my daughter ate here last Sunday. We ordered two beef roasts and they were amazing. The food and the service from our waitress Gracie were brilliant. We will one hundred percent be eating here again. Thank you for an amazing afternoon.

   So, fundamentally this was a really nice place. The atmosphere is modern yet comfortable. I felt it was clean and well-looked after and I did not find anything obvious out of place. Our party was there for a wedding reception and there were quite a lot of us. We ordered a lot of food and although I felt that the service was a little slow perhaps, I didn't find it slow to the point of questioning it as, after all, they were cooking approximately 20 meals from scratch. I ordered lamb shank and crème brule and I really enjoyed the lamb. I found it to be well cooked and definitely enjoyed my meal. As far as I am aware most of our party enjoyed their meal and we found nothing to complain about with the food at all. The service was actually really pro-active and helpful and I got the impression that nothing was too much trouble and the staff were really polite.

   We recently held an afternoon social for 23 retired staff at The Pointing Dog, and it couldn’t have gone better. The food, drinks, service, and organisation were all excellent, with every request carried out seamlessly. The pub itself is spotlessly clean, with ample parking, and while the weather kept us indoors, the gardens are a beautiful space that would be perfect on a sunnier day

   Drive home from Blackpool and we decided here for a some food and a drink well from walking in absolutely lovely service with having a disabled boy in a big push chair they put us on a table with plenty of room and they had proper disabled toilets but the changing table is still the grey pull down. But the food was absolutely lovely well nice from the brewery tower burger to the cheese & onion pie home made and I'll be stopping here again i would recommend this to others

   I came with my sister for a last minute meal after a long drive and were fitted in quickly and quietly. There was an item out of stock but the waitress offered alternatives and her recommendations and I settled on the mushroom and truffle pasta which was amazing! The wine choice was good, and we’ve decided we’ll come back to try some cocktails and other food choices! Shocked I haven’t been before and will definitely be back!

   Truly enjoyed my Company Christmas Lunch at Pointing Dog with a Great Quality Food and Services! Meal Choices pre ordered that made easier for party of 50+ people. Free parking on site. Easy access from A34 and Airport by Pass. Beautifully decorated inside and has nice seating area at the back for warmer weather times. Highly recommended!

   We were pleasantly surprised.... last time we ate at the pub we were so disappointed (it was over a year ago) and so we haven't eaten there since. However we did see the menu when we came for drinks recently and decided to give it a go... we had pizzas and they were beautiful. We would have liked some more choice and thought the prices of other dishes like burgers a little expensive but we weren't disappointed with our choices and will be coming back again soon. Xx

   Well, talk about overpriced! This in front of me came to £20! The only salad was a thick bit of tomato in the burger! I'm sure the fries were just packet/from freezer as well and not fresh? Decor was nice and staff polite but definitely NOT value for money, sorry.
