   Quite a nice pub… the vegetable soup is outstanding but could do with a slightly bigger portion size at £6. Gammon and eggs was a bit of a let down, I was really hoping for a nice thick piece of gammon and home made chips but unfortunately it was quite thin and accompanied by frozen chips ! EVERYTHING was piping hot which is great. I will visit again and try something else.

   Really good pub at the end of the runway. And very near the railway (hence the name) Came on an early Sunday afternoon for a quick pint. Very good service - food looked and smelt great, but we didn’t stay that long. Probably will be back one day soon though! Very big beer garden out the back. Caters well for kids (if that’s your thing) so can be for better or worse. Building inside is very low beams and ducking if your about 6ft and above! But really nice.

   Called in for lunch after finding Tatton Park shut. Well what a little gem this place is. Lovely pub with a cracking beer garden in the summer. Proper traditional pub with a welcoming feel. Nice greeting when we arrived and staff very friendly and chatty. Great menu reasonable prices and the food we had came in good time and was excellent most home cooked. Highly recommend.

   This is a very disappointing pub. It could be so much more, but there is no enthusiasm from the owners. They are more concerned with satisfying the regulars with beer. It smells of stale cooking oil, and is not really trying to make any attempt at imprisonment. More focused on sports TV which plays on large screens throughout. A shame really because it could a really be good pub. Beers just OK. Handy for the train, which made it 2 star.

   Decided to go for lunch on Sunday, last minute. Rang and they managed to fit 4 adults, 3 children and a dog. Very friendly, lovely food and tons of outdoor play equipment for the boys. Thankyou xx

   Just returned from a lovely family celebration for a Golden Wedding Anniversary. Lovely outside seating area, table all set out with balloons I'd dropped off earlier. Kitchen was opened a little earlier than usual to accommodate our booking which is much appreciated. Good food, drinks and great service. I particularly enjoyed my proper old school prawn cocktail! The children had a great time playing in the extensive and safe beer garden. The landlord was also kind enough to take my father in law the short distance to the train station as he had become very tired after the meal.
