What a fantastic pub! It truly stands out from the rest in Handforth, hosting brilliant events and always having something going on, from pool and darts nights to quizzes and card games, so there’s always a great reason to pop in, no matter the day of the week. The beer selection is excellent, offering something for everyone, and the prices are easily the best in town. Everything is well kept, and you can tell quality really matters here. They’ve also added more TVs throughout the pub, making it easy to watch multiple games at once without feeling crowded or missing any of the action. For any sporting event, this is the place to be. The atmosphere during football matches is absolutely unbeatable, lively, passionate, and full of energy. Add in the friendly, welcoming staff and a great mix of regulars and new faces, and it’s the kind of pub you’ll find yourself coming back to again and again.

Lovely pub, it’s too bad the Family running this pub are Horrible, Nasty bad-mannered Human Beings. That give you looks that could literally Kill, whilst your sat there trying to enjoy your Pint. I really don’t understand what the little old woman is thinking treating customers like this, in this day and age when you could easily ruin your reputation with The Online Era. She has her granddaughter working there also who is underage this has already been reported, I really honestly wouldn’t even mind it’s just the pure fact of the sheer cheek and nasty looks given by these individuals. And it’s on purpose because I’ve visited here multiple times despite the fact. And enough is enough it’s time people took responsibility for their actions and for others to be aware. Stay away x

Second time visiting this establishment and will never return. On both occasions i’ve witnessed an extremely aggressive manager (pink hair Josie or Jess?) talk down to people, disrespect customers and her own daughter. Who is equally as rude. How they are allowed to be the face of a public establishment is beyond my comprehension. I will be contacting the brewery because i was astounded with the behaviour. Do not go to this pub.

Good pub. Always a warm welcome, clean, covid compliant. Lovely atmosphere and Well maintained. Diane keeps a good cellar, her beer is consistently good. She has guest ales too. Excellent range of gins. Diane provides a good range of alcohol free drinks for those of us that are always driving! Rarely go anywhere else these days.
