   First time here for an early tea Seen lots of social media recommendations so had to come. Met the lovely Kerry who started tonight and was her first customer … she was so lovely and I’m sure will be an asset to the team. Claire was just as nice and a good teacher So ordered off the 2 for £12.50 menus … lasagna for me .. scampi for him … was lovely good sized portions and piping hot Drinks fairly priced … no corkscrew to open my wine but a laugh rather than a problem All in all a great visit .. cannot fault anything.. just gutted we couldn’t stay for the quiz .. but will definitely be back !!

   Terrible pub if you want a quiet drink. Loud groups of adults shouting and swearing around children whenever I've visited. Seems the bar staff are friends with the groups and refuse to tell them to be respectful to others. Run down pub that's never full. Such as a shame some ruin it for the rest as it has a lovely outside in the Summer.

   Unbelievably bad experience. The door for disabled access is locked. They open it for you entering is locked immediately afterwards. So there is no way of leaving without asking. The manager was asked for it to be left open but said they couldn’t for legal reasons. There is no law that applies to stopping disabled access, but he wouldn’t go back on it. They also blocked access to the disabled toilet and said if you needed access then you had to ask every time. Who should have to ask for permission to use the toilet?
