   Unfortunately very few staff. Can't be helped l il suppose. Pub very busy .we waited quite some time for our meals and 1 had to be sent back. Wasn't happy with it all. Ordered a drink it was forgotten about. We tried to get attention of staff when the 3 of them were standing about talking. I won't let this put me off and will try it again and a different meal next time too.

   We visited the Roebuck pub this afternoon for lunch as a party of 4 with a pre booked table. The service was a little slow but it was quite busy. The food served seemed of a good quality and well proportioned overall we would recommend this pub. *Please note that you must register your car number plate on machine on entry to the pub, to save receiving a parking fine in the post.

   I don’t go out for a meal very often but had a catch-up with some lovely friends. We chose the Roebuck Urmston as it has always delivered before. The service and staff were good and the pub itself is beautifully decorated but to say I was disappointed with the food was an understatement! The portions were very measly, about 6 chips each and a portion of mushy peas that had been measured out with a teaspoon I think. The food looked like it had been thrown onto the plate. I won’t be rushing back anytime soon ☹️

   Lovely place, much improved on the previous set up. I went there yesterday for a wake and the staff were very friendly and helpful and considerate of why we were there. The place seems more like a pub again than the restaurant it became after it burned down, the food we had was very good and buying drinks didn't break the bank either.

   We have just been to the roebuck with our residents and family's... A very large party indeed. And all of the staff worked so hard. The service... Especially the food was amazing. Them chefs have not stopped. Thank you for making our residents happy and also very full. It's been amazing

   Lovely surroundings and staff, reasonably priced and great food for most people including Vegetarian and Vegan. Sadly like so many places little effort is made on the menu for coeliacs.and gluten free options are not identified, you have to check each item against an allergen list to discover salad is your main option. I have to say, it was lovely but a hot meal would have been welcome.

   What a lovely experience we had visiting the roebuck for some food and a few drinks. The staff are excellent, so friendly and attentive. We were greeted by Angela who made us feel very welcome and then Jane was so lovely and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was presented to a high standard and arrived hot. I asked about the chef's, to pass on our thanks, Paul and Connor. We will be visiting again!
