Came in on Saturday night for a few drinks and was very disappointed by the difference in service we received from the two bartenders. The older of the two ladies was quite rude and unprofessional in her service, even wearing slippers at one point! The younger lady wearing grey was incredibly welcoming and always had a lovely smile on her face… if only they were all like her! We love the Spread but this experience has really made us not want to come back again, such a shame!!

This a great traditiona deservedly popular welcoming pub in the heart of beautiful Lymm with a warm cosy atmosphere ideal for smaller family gatherings and larger milestone family events, vistors, locals and walkers. . My son booked it at very short notice for his birthday ( for twelve including 5 kids having been let down by another pub grip venue.) The hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating and gave us a whole room, the ground floor Snug which had a lovely atmosphere, a small bar and dart board plus TV. The hosts couldn't have been more friendly , going the extra mile to ensure all of our needs were met. We all loved thd food including the kids from a varied tempting menu. Portions were generous, the chips outstanding ! . It's next to the very picturesque Dingle with its large pond and weir next to The Dingle. It serves great quality fresh made food at a reasonable price and as an overall experience, memorable best describes it and would highly recommend it unconditionally.

Saturday 6th December..We were a party of 6 ladies..booked the table for 7.30pm table 1 in a quiet corner..we arrived quite early and Karen let us sit at the table for a drink before hand because it was very busy at the bar..much appreciated. The table service given by Karen and Jack was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Seeing as it was our Christmas get together, we all had the festive menu.. 3 course. The food was absolutely delicious, very hot (just as I like it) and plenty on your plate too, so a massive shout out to the Chefs too..you all made it a very enjoyable night. Thank you!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️all the way..

We recently hired the function suite for a family party. Amazing high quality buffet, lovely friendly staff and it had been decorated beautifully for us. We also brought our own decorations.

Absolutely lovely lunch here today. We were travelling through Lymm on a day boat trip and needed something nice to warm us. The food did not disappoint highly recommend the cheese pie it is absolutely spot on. Service was fab too didn’t have to leave our seats for anything and even the dog was well looked after! It was busy enough to have a nice atmosphere but not where it felt too busy. Thanks for a lovely lunch

60th celebratory Afternoon Tea. So much food we left with 3 doggy bags! The gluten-free Victoria Sponge was out of his world

Really nice pub and restaurant. Unfortunately, the Christmas Dinner (Shin of beef) was very fatty and full of gristle. Normally the food here is fantastic.

Had a buffet for 20 guests after my daughter’s christening and Claire did an absolutely beautiful job at decorating the function room for us, it was actually more than I expected and everyone commented on how lovely it was. Very reasonable prices, friendly service and great food. Would highly recommend!

Came here on Sunday and got the "two for Β£20" deal on Sunday roast, amazed at the great quality and value for money. We were seated in one of the booths which was really comfy and we had plenty of room for 4 of us, there is perspex screens in-between all the seating making us all feel safe. Staff were really friendly and everything was a smooth operation. Can't wait to come back and have another roast.

Wow what can I say, decided to try out my father's day gift "Dog friendly pub walks in Cheshire" after lovely walk around Lymm Dam finished off at the Spread Eagle in the village centre. Very welcoming reception from the owner and staff on arrival, taking time out from serving to come and ensure everything was good with our order etc and also to speak with us too. We ordered the Garden Platter which we shared and my son had the burger and skin on fries, possibly "THE BEST" he has ever had. Would highly recommend. And a little Gem on the list of revisits. Think it would be a cosy place after a winter walk.
