⭐☆☆☆☆ Absolutely awful experience. The service was shockingly bad—rude staff, long wait times for a carvery? LIKE WHAT, and zero attention to customers. We had to ask multiple times for certain mandetory items and our server acted like we were a nobody and just disrespected us and just glared at us the whole time making us uncomfortable . As for the food, it was barely edible. Cold, bland, and clearly not fresh. Nothing tasted like it was made with care or quality. We left hungry and frustrated. Save your money and go literally anywhere else!

A warm welcome from staff when arrived was then complimented by the aroma of the beautiful looking carvery. That was it myself and my family's mind were made up without even a glance at the menus, carvery all round. We ordered at the bar served by a cheerful fellow named Ian. Over the carvery where we were served by a friendly giant of a man, Alex if memory serves me correctly. The food was as expected, excellent We couldn't fault the experience from beginning to end. Even checked on whilst we ate by a pleasant young lady Kerry. Thank you waggon and horses staff for .making our experience a joyous occasion.

So disappointed, been coming here since I was a child. The food quality the past couple of times, has not been the best. Still gave it a couple of more tries, as it had been busy on these occasions but today was the worst I’ve ever had from there. The butter chicken was so over cooked i had to strip the coating off to eat it and the chips tasted like they had been cooked more than once. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Visited today as the kids wanted to go to a soft play and have a meal before hand. We had carverys which was probably one of the best iv ever had, everything was delicious, kids meals were well portioned and arrived quickly. Staff were helpful and friendly. Place was clean and tidy and well set out. Will definitely be visiting again. Well done team.

This is a lovely pub house with some outdoor tables. It’s so leisure to sit between the green building and a grassland. The fish and chip is perfect and the fried onion is crispy enough. I really enjoyed the chocolate sundae too.
