Popped in here Sat evening with four girlfriends. Had the most amazing night. Thank you to their DJ playing fab 70s/80s tunes. Lots of dancing & laughs. Staff absolutely the friendliest bunch. Thank you Town Hall Tavern for the best Saturday night we've had in a long time. We'll be back!!
Love this place. Authentic classic feel of a building and pub. Staff are every approachable..loads of seats inside. Situated in the alleyways and can be challenging to find.
Such a lovely place with amazing CJ that hosted our crazy 16 people event. I really surprised to see Kyiv food in this place. As Ukrainian who visited many European places this is really worth to visit in Manchester!! Thank you CJ for your amazing hospitality. Business owner should be proud to have people like CJ.
I don't live in the UK for ten years but here on the news pubs closing in the UK but was in Manchester found this great boozer from friendly staff to great food excellent selection of ciders but best of all the bloody Mary superb so give it a try next time in the UK I'll pop in
Great venue. Very comfortable and cosy. Lots of seating space. Lots of choice of drinks and recently started to do food again. Seasonal drinks available too. Sports games available on TV.
Popped in for food however they had stopped serving. Shame as it looked gorgeous. Made it in time for happy hour and got one of the best bottles of red wine I’ve ever had for just £14! It was a lovely clean modern pub and there was a selection of board games in the corner! The guy that served me was polite and nice. Overall great find!
Nice traditional English pub, Good selection of real ale and lager, efficient friendly service. We also went back later in the day for Steak & Ale pie, mash & veg, whilst others had Bangers & Mash, all had clean plates, and were pleased with the value.
It was a pleasure to enjoy Friday evening in this pub. We absolutely like craft beer and nice fish&chips here. You definitely should visit this place
Oddly this pub is probably my least visited city centre pub in the last 48 years. Maybe 4 times. Back in about 1980 as a post 68 long haired scruff but pre 76 punk I walked into the New Romantics. Thought it was fancy dress. Has not changed much inside. Sold 4 real ales today. Ordinary pint of Wainwright. Flat Eric been more than me.
