Lovely atmosphere in here. Door staff and bar staff were spot on, very friendly and attentive. Special mention to Poppy on the downstairs bar, who couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel right at home. She is a real credit to the landlord. Will definitely be back.

It has the unmistakable atmosphere of a Manchester United pub lively, energetic, and full of enthusiastic fans. Although it gets crowded, it is in the best way possible, and the ample space spread across two floors ensures it never feels overwhelming. The vibe is ideal for watching a football match, especially if you enjoy the excitement of passionate supporters.

Great pub & a must for any Man Utd fans - and reasonably priced! Wall's are packed with history of Manchester and surrounding areas. There is also upper room's in the bar that are as interesting as the lower level. Highly recommended establishment.

Been a while since Flat visired this homage to Manchester pub. ( esp UNITED). walls covered in photos of days gone by. Georgie Best in particular. Chose a good pint of Taylor's Landlord over Black Sheep, Dizzy Blond and Doom Bar. Pub has good roof terrace for better months than Jan. Used to love walking into the Rising Sun from Lincoln Squsre..out back..into Nags Head, out back..down alley into Lord Abercrombie. Very short pub crawl! ( Building work cutting off back alley..!)

Lovely pub with a bar as you walk in which is always nice. Pictures all around the pub, even on the ceiling, showcasing notable people from Manchester. The night I was there they had a mix of Fleetwood Mac, Petula Clark, Stereophonics type of vibe playing. This is a good place to stop off at if you fancy a couple of drinks. The pub has a local feel to it. Quirky sayings and messages on blackboards around the place. It was busy enough when I was here. You may have to wait for a table when you arrive but we didn't wait very long.

The Old Nags Head is the mother of all hidden gems in Manchester. Just of Deansgate on Jackson's Row . You can easily pass it as it is very modest from the outside but when you step in you don't want to leave because of the treasure and the history you will discover in it. I am not to go into details just look at the photos . What is make it also extremely nice and enjoyable to be there is the staff they are so nice helpful and proud of the place they work in and tell you about it. VIMTO
