   Great traditional venue with good music. Small rooms for music so booking essential. Push to the front, rather than hanging at the back, there is always room close to the stage. Watch out for the mosh pit. Staff in the Castle are lovely, as are the patrons.

   Nice, old-fashioned very traditional British pub with a cool back room where bands play. Friendly service and a good atmosphere, the back room is small so perfect for an intimate gig. Good selection of beers on at the bars including Robinson's Trooper which is a personal fave!

   Fantastic pub with a long history dating back to 1776. Attractive tiled bar and has a couple of rooms and a very small outside yard with a few seats. We'll known as a lively music venue giving local talent an opportunity to perform. Excellent cask ales. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

   This is 100% a music pub, if there isn't a band on there's something playing in the background, which was quite fun when you can hear the guys in the taproom singing this charming man. . Personally i don't think the beer range was too good but they were all on form and very drinkable . This is a very friendly and welcoming place for a beer and i would defiantly go back,All in all not bad at all.

   Thank you to be here. I heard about the Plumporter and it was sold out. So, got an draft Pale Ale, or two. Next day returned an the Plumporter was on tab again. Tell You, good to come back! Great taste, love it. By the way, the bar is nice, as a neighborhood bar has to be. Bad if you don't live in Manchester.
