Called in for breakfast with my wife this morning. Superb menu and real value for money. After waiting for well over 30 minutes my wife's veggie breakfast and my full English arrived. The fried eggs were stone cold and the beans bacon and sausages were barely luke warm. The only thing hot on the plates were the hash browns. How kitchen staff can let food out of the kitchen in that state is not an oversight - its just downright unacceptable and a poor show. A lady member of staff did have the courtesy to stop by and ask if the meals were OK and offered a refund after me advising how cold the food was. All in all a very poor performance from the kitchen but really good after service. A real pity about the food and long wait - was looking forward to a nice breakfast! Can't fault the value for money but it doesn't matter how good the value for money is if the food is served up cold!

Lack of staff, young staff just laughing, joking are literally arguing and shouting at manager. I told them to grow up and take all arguments away from the public. Six of us witnessed this brawl and it wasn't the first time. I was in last week for a couple of hours where I ate as did others around / next to me. No plate or glass clearance for almost two hours... Just staff laughing and chatting about a customer in the corner.. Not good. Need managing better and this was 2 30ish pm to 4 40pm.

Great breakfast. Served hot and presented well. Would advise not to have fruit machines on until later in the day, the noise coming from them was too loud and think it altered a Sunday morning atmosphere

Came in for lunch just before 12.00 on Sunday. There were a few people inside but it was not crowded and got served straight away. I had halloumi fries and chicken wrap. My wife had a small fish and chips. Overall extremely good value. I paid £12.45 for a bottle of Pinot Grigio. I normally pay around £18 to £20 in Didsbury. One restaurant was even charging £28 for a bottle. We shall definitely be coming back here again. I did check the menu somebody had put on Google about 3 years ago but there has been some changes - they no longer do the grilled half chicken. Uploaded the current menu today.

Nipped in with my friend for a quick dinner and drink. Very good service and steak and chips were excellent. Keep up the good work.

Great meal out at lunch today. Staff really friendly and helpful. Great quality food. Pizzas were excellent value. Male staff member politely asked if there was anyone in the Ladies before he did the loo check so as not to embarras any women in there. Nice to see such concern and respect. Really great pub.
