   Luke the manager of the store very kindly allowed a film student of mine to interview him for a documentary. He took the time out of his busy schedule for this and we were very grateful. The staff of the store are very friendly and were welcoming to my student. It was very nice to see a local business engaging with and forging links with the local college.

   The staff at West Bromwich River Island are always so helpful, always smiling and professional, l don’t know any of them personally but l always feel like l have had a great shopping experience when l come out. I can’t say that about many shops now unfortunately.

   The customer service in the West Bromwich branch is appalling. There were a few staff members in this branch who were the most unprofessional people I have ever come across. There was a particular member of staff who was openly having a dramatic episode and other members were having to calm them down, as they were storming their way through the store. This completely ruined my shopping experience. I was later served at the tills by this same person and one other, and they were very rude to talk to and actually unhelpful. I was trying to use a gift voucher towards my payment and they spoke rudely about having to download an app. While I stood on the side and downloaded an app, they openly swore and had a moan about two customers they served in that time! Absolutely vile and disgusting attitude for a workplace. Then they both just walked off and left the tills and myself. I decided to reframe from spending my money in this branch. Would rather go to Bullring and spend there, where I’m sure I’ll be greeted with a smile. I would never shop in this branch again!

   I placed an order on the 20th of June which was expected to arrive at the West Bromwich store either on the 24th or earlier. I have since not had any update and all my visit to the store proved futile. It’s close to a week and river island has practically refused all my efforts to get to them regarding my order. Can river island be professional in serving their customers. And if the item is out of stock can they proceed to issue a refund as I’m no longer interested in the item. Poor services delivered by thier uncultured staff at bill ring store.

   Went in had a nice time spent £104.10.. man lies at the reception saying he gave me a carrier bag free and then when I see on my receipt he has charged me.. not good customer skills.. and please don't lie to customers very bad.. 11/02/3023..

   Can find the odd great item in here, but not as much good stuff as they used to have. Like most of the clothes shops in this shopping centre, it seems overly crammed into a small unit.
