Lovely place in Finsbury Park. Everything was great - the service, food and vibes generally. Great music too. We really enjoyed the food, everything was so flavourful! We will be back. It was just a little cold but after the food came out, we warmed right up!
Outstanding tacos and wonderful service! Service over the phone to reschedule booking was nice and fabulous throughout the meal. The guacamole starter dressed with pomegranate was nice and the nachos were OK. The seabass and prawns are to die for. The Beef and the pork we decent too. Tres Leche cake to finish off was was nice thought the cream was a bit much.
I arrive at the resturant around 6pm. It was very quiet, just myself and another visitor. The customer service was absolutely great, staff was welcoming, polite and attentive. However, the food was very basic. I had the beef tacos and they tasted underwhelming, cold and bland. I came on a Tuesday which is 50% off and I still didn’t feel the tacos were worth £8. However, the potions are quite big. Overall, I rate the food 1-2 stars and service and potion 5 stars.
The music is 10/10, just want to start there. I came on a date here and he also enjoyed his. Saying his starter, main and dessert. I would also agree. Everything was seasoned well, the hot sauce was banging. Just felt like the dessert was a little too sweet and I have a massive sweet tooth so that is something coming from me. Would recommend, kind of expensive though.
The birria tacos were amazing, 10/10. I would come back for these. My partner got the cod and prawn tacos, which he loved, but I thought weren't quite as spectacular. Still, very good. The churros were okay. Main criticism is that the chocolate should be hot, not fridge-cold! Still high-quality, just not how it's supposed to be. The prices are quite high - we would not have gone without a 50% off offer, and I wouldn't come back without one. But, if it is in your budget, I recommend going for a cold beer and tacos in summer in their cute, quaint outdoor space (pictured). Service was good, and the atmosphere was very casual, and very fun. They have a good, fun playlist.
Great customer service. Would recommend the beef fajitas with flour tortillas, however if you’re someone that likes spicy food you might want to ask for some chilli sauce to add to your food. The flavour of the tacos was a bit underwhelming. Didn’t get to sit indoors because the seats left had been reserved. They had an outdoor seating area which is where my husband and I sat. It was okay but the vibe inside was definitely better.
Authentic Mexican food served in a lovely lively environment with very nice staff. Really enjoyed the guacamole, corn chips, tacos with pulled pork and chicken. Wife had veggie burrito which was lovely too. Great cocktails and ended with a complimentary offering of tequila. We'll be back for sure
A very lively Mexican restaurant with great atmosphere and nice staff. The food was above average. We weren’t wowed by our experience compared to others, but we enjoyed our time. If you’re wanting to get value for money, I would encourage you to come on a Tuesday for ‘Taco Tuesday’ where all tacos are 50% off. We got the beef, pork, chorizo and veggie option. The pork was by far the best option. The chorizo and the veggie wasn’t much to be desired for. The chicken nachos was good. Again, it wasn’t spectacular but not disappointing. Overall it was a great experience. Oh and they do half price cocktails between 5 and 7. Margaritas were nice but could do with a bit more alcohol.
Excellent food with super friendly service. Unlimited tortillas with most dishes means you certainly won't be leaving here hungry, although we still managed to find space for churros (even though we did just get a couple to share). Great selection of meat and vegetarian dishes, and most would be shareable if you can't decide. The only negative (and certainly not enough to remove a star) is that the 'four portion bottle' of margarita was definitely only three. The picture attached shows two of the three portions we poured out, both with ice in the glass.
Awesome and lively Mexican restaurant, bedecked with colourful decorations. The service was fantastic and the food was incredible. We ordered burritos and tacos. The nachos came highly recommended by our waiter who promised "the best guacamole" and he was right- that was the freshest and most flavoursomenguac I've had. The portions were decent and my friend enjoyed her margarita. A great place for a casual get-together
