We were a party of 6 for a friend's birthday. The food was just ok. The nachos were good, but the portion size was extremely small. My Chimichanga was expensive (£18.50) was overcooked. The bill came, and they accidentally added items from the table next to us on our bill. They had surprised my friend for her birthday and brought her out a shot of tequila with a sparkler on it, which was nice, but when the bill came, they charged £3 for the sparkler! We didn't even order it. Cheeky. So pay attention to your bills!

Exceeding all my expectations, this Mexican restaurant set the bar so high from different aspects - food authenticity, quality, service, ambiance & remarkable value for money - that it can be barely compared with any other restaurants in the UK.

Amazing!!! The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. The whole atmosphere with the music and setting was lovely. The staff were friendly and didn't rush us. Definitely returning another time.

Pleasant surprise at Mexican lunch in Henley. Truly expected the usual boring Brit take on Mexican food, but I was wrong. Whatever issues I had with authenticity or portion sizes were swept away by the hospitality and staff, all of whom are at least from the right Continent. Lunch was very slow but service didn’t suffer, I was brought a very good guacamole to nibble on while waiting for the pulled beef empanada starter with excellent salsa verde. The taco plates have three tacos and they kindly let me substitute fish for one of the pork Cochinita ones. Glad I did as they were generously overstuffed to the point of being hard to eat. Shame the corn tortillas weren’t the authentic nixtamalised corn ones, but the rice was very tasty, all washed down with a couple of Dos XX beers. The menu looks good, the flavours were right on and the variable heat level was not cautious. “Very hot” was exactly that, even for this chilli-head! A taco plate for lunch was £20, which with extra tortillas to share fillings would be a good lunch for two. Recommended for something different in Henley.

As others have said Pachangas is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever eaten at in the UK! The food is absolutely delicious and it's super flavourful! The food is honestly bursting with so much flavour. The nachos are my favourite especially the red bean and plantain ones and the way the cheese is melted on top made me return to the restaurant 3 Saturdays in a row! It's a family ran business with a lovely atmosphere! Highly recommended a visit!

We visited Pachangas for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon, and as soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted with a friendly smile and some very catchy music! We’ve been to a some chain Mexican restaurants in the UK and they are usually pretty garish and tacky, but Pachangas was a bit more low-key and had a lovely atmosphere. We intended to stop for a quick lunch but it soon turned into a 3 course meal with cocktails, as it was all so good! The food was packed full of flavour, and the cocktails were all extremely good too. The service was very friendly and we really enjoyed the pace of the experience. It was also very good value for the quality and the quantity of the food. If you’re looking for something tasty when visiting Henley on Thames, it’s sure to get your tastebuds dancing!

One of the best Mexican restaurants I've had in the UK. The service was great and the staff were attentive. For drinks we got their margaritas which were excellent. For starters we had their homemade guacamole which was fresh and served with proper fried tortilla chips. For mains I had their beef burrito with flavoured rice with beans. All of which was incredibly tasty and filling. For desert we had their churros with chocolate and caramel sauce. Again, it was amazing. All in all, Pachangas is 10/10 must visit if you like Mexican food.

Great Mexican with nice decor and super friendly and attentive staff. The cocktails are amazing. Big and strong, like they should be and the same with the starters. Large portions. The mains were equally big and full of flavour. Would definitely be coming back for more.
