I was concerned that the restaurant was rated at two extremes, but I found out when I actually tried the food. The first good thing is that the ingredients used are very rich. For example, I ordered the special (Eight Treasure stir-fry). The ingredients were Chinese cabbage, onions, carrots, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, beef, chicken breast and prawns. That was £7.3 with the fried noodles, which was surprising. Other restaurants would have a much smaller variety for this price. The fried noodles also contained bean sprouts and onions. I was delighted because the availability of bean sprouts in the UK is limited. The fried rice was also very hearty and did not decrease in volume. (The Tupperware was packed tightly.) There were eggs, prawns, chicken and char siu pork in it, which was also a good variety. Good points include the variety of ingredients for the price, the quantity of food and the speed at which it is served is not too slow. (When I visited the restaurant, there were about 10 groups, including those with reservations, but the waiting time was about 10 minutes. It's very thriving!) And what is not good is that the taste is average. The meat was normal, neither tough nor tender. The vegetables seemed to have been stir-fried quickly at high temperatures and were chewy. Some people may find this 'tough' or 'raw'. And as you eat and the food cools down, you may notice a greasy taste. In terms of the food and quantity, I would have given it 5 stars, but as for the taste, I gave it 3 stars, so I gave it a 4-star review for the meal. In addition, a free fortune cookie was given to the customer, although it was not noticed at the time of receipt. It was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is not so bad as to be criticised. We hope it continues to thrive. Thanks for the food! (Only cash was possible)

My new favourite Chinese takeaway! I've ordered twice now and the food has been tasty on both occasions, it has come hot, fresh and within the time limit. The prices are very good compared to other Chinese takeaways close by... You can order via their website or on just eat

I recently had the pleasure of ordering from a local Chinese takeaway, and I must say that it was an incredibly satisfying experience. From the moment I placed the order to the moment the food arrived at my doorstep, everything was absolutely seamless. Will definitely return X

THE best Chinese around I've tried!!! The food is absolutely beautiful. My fiance & I went after my friend in Chorley told me about it, her in-laws live in Wigan so she'd been. We went & wow I finished the whole portion, never done that before at any Chinese. I always have chicken & cashew nuts with egg fried rice. My fella had a curry. Both of us enjoyed our takeaway so we've returned a few times now & the food has always been amazing. Fully recommend the takeaway!!!!
