best Chinese food in the area salt and pepper chicken has amazing flavour not too spicy. crispy chilli beef is also a nice choice. the chips are always well seasoned and the egg fried rice is to die for. always quick too and cheap compared to others.
I spent £37 on a takeaway, I ordered, chicken satay skewers which were hard, overcooked and stringy, combination starter, again, chicken was awful, ribs were freezing cold and couldn’t chew them. Main courses, chicken curry, this tasted like a chicken stock cube had been put into very mild curry powder, no taste of curry whatsoever, watery and bland!! Chicken in Cantonese sauce, watery, tasteless and just sweet, noodles were dry and hard!’ Never again, 99% of it was binned!! They even made the prawn crackers burnt!! Dreadful!!

Rating a 4/5 because the food is a 4/5. It’s really good, but it isn’t the best in St. Helens. I’m not sure if they offer it anymore but they used to offer a pick ‘n’ mix service where you picked up a box and filled it with whatever you liked for a set price - always thought this was a great idea because you could try a bit of everything. Delivery is available and you can also collect but parking can be a bit hard work.
Big, tasty portion at fair price. The staff could be a bit more involved/friendly as opposed to being dismissive, but then... it's a take away.
