Just been to A1 Jeans and bought 2 shirts and a jumper. All fit perfect and what a pleasure it was to meet and chat with the owner. This shop is a little gem so please pay it a visit because little independent shops like this won't be around for ever and it'll be a crime to let them go.
A case of purchase in a hurry, regret when home. Purchased two pairs of wranglers, tried on in shop, was in hurry, even picture taken in shop by owner of one pair showed the one pair didn't really hang quite right as discovered when got home. Tried to return them today, first chance after bankholiday. Items were paid for by cash, but store would not give a refund but only offered a credit note. All explained that if I wasn't happy on the day, shouldn't of bought them, even he said that they should settle in wear.! As we all know, credit notes nowadays can mean nothing, even to a buisness as well established as A1 jeans. I live away from the area and would of liked cash back and visit to choose some more, I've used this store for 30 odd years now. Absolutely no give from the owner what so ever, in fact he was bordering on quite smug as to laud it out how brilliant their returns policy and trading standards blend. Well as there was no give from him, nor shall I return. Jeans are now being sold on . Also I will tell people how much more protection you have as a consumer, to actually purchase items on line and not in person for alot of cash which you will only recieve a paper credit for.

My husband loves the clothes from this shop, so always get presents for him there, the owner is very friendly and helpful as i can never decide what to get my hubby lol will be shopping here for years to come!
