Donations are clearly not being sold on the shop floor. Selling on eBay should not be allowed unless the items have been on the shop floor for at least 24 hours. This shop has gotten way out of hand and gone down hill. Selling tat and fake trainers for ridiculous prices and the good items go to auction. Terrible practices from a once great store.

I don’t like saying negative remarks about a shop trying to raise money for children but my recent experience to this branch I feel needs to be heard. The staff I engaged with were less than helpful or friendly. I asked to have some fairy lights plugged in to see their colours/brightness/function only to be told this isn’t possible due to being unable to ‘test’ items on the shop floor this coupled with the highly overinflated price was enough to put me off. Another recent visit staff/volunteers were talking right in the middle of the shop with a customer about how women are asking for it by dressing provocatively and how it’s their own fault if men abuse them! Pricing is crazy… the location is Shirley West Midlands not ebay internationally. Also are these prices based on the ebay ‘sold’ or eBay sellers aspirational pricing! Not everyone buys from charity to sell on, LOTS of people just wanted inexpensive goods due to the high cost of living crisis. Even if people are buying to sell on they are hardly going to be rich doing so, they need to make ends meet too and if the shop is making money from donated goods where is the harm anyway! The stock doesn’t change that much due to the high pricing there isn’t the turnover so shopping is much less interesting. Please take heed of these comments.

I went into the store for just one thing, but Ms. Dorota was so kind and professional that I left with a backpack full of goods. Best regards. I'll come back as soon as I empty the backpack, but I have so many things in it that it definitely won't be this week.

I've been purchasing from Shirley branch over a few years from time to time. However of late can you please explain to me why are your prices so high. You're trying to sell what you believe are antique items at antique shop prices for example and even higher. Remember you are a charity shop. And come on staff members please smile ans stop looking at customers as if they're all shop lifting

Just went here with my mom and sister as soon as I went in the shop the ladies had suspicion on their faces and then proceeded to watch me and my sibling keep in mind I was barley in the shop for no more than 20 seconds. I’m absolutely horrified at the service these two ladies have provided. Being followed around 20 seconds in, has made me feel upset and I’m never going back inside. Shopped at 2.59 I will also like to mention one of the ladies looked inside my asda bag as I was leaving the store which made me even more uncomfortable. And the other lady kept looking at my sister

Talk about overpriced. All items they receive are gifted and yet they try to sell items at retail price or nearest to that. I visit this shop regularly just to see if prices change but they never do. The items in the cabinet and behind the counter are an example of what I'm talking about when I mentioned the prices. Remember, items are gifted/free don't spoil the charity Shop vibe They're researching items on EBAY and going with them prices, if something if worth £20 why not sell it for £10? You're still making a profit because you get items for free.

Unusually for a charity shop it gets donations of new items to sell. Some items are unusual and unexpected and can include stuff for home, hobbies and garden.
