Very disappointed. I'd thought from the reviews that this was going to be great food. Maybe it was a weekday and quiet but I think the chicken had been reheated and very dry. Not much taste and the staff looked really naffed off like they begrudged my presence. Shame, I'd had high hopes
Had the set meal A for 2. Its great value for money! Chicken and sweetcorn soup portions average but contain generous slices of chicken in them. Spring rolls were crisp, fresh & not greasy. Crispy duck cooked well, hoi sin sauce nice and thick, super fresh veggies. Special fried rice x2 really tasty and generous portion sizes. Sweet and sour chicken is as you expect (no bad thing) but with nice crispy peppers adding a bit of texture and contrast to the flavour of the sauce. The star of the show is the Steak in Cantonese sauce. Wow, this is not the usual cantonese beef dish you'll get in most Chinese takeaways. The slices of steak melt in your mouth and the the flavour of the meat is perfect match for the cantonese sauce, it balances really well. Thanks for the tasty meal!
Lovely food from breakfast menu and Chinese is the best I've ever had. Owners are lovely and know my favourites when I go in.
Breakfast Barms was moldy and soaking wet waste of time don't bother
We ring for delivery and I’m not going to argue it’s turned up in 15 mins. But you could tell it was rushed, some off the noodles were hard and same with the rice, like not it was not cooked properly or it was reheated
We stumbled across this take away when our usual take away was closed, and I’m so glad we did. The food was sensational and portion size was generous. This will be our take out restaurant of choice in future!
Disgusting meals. Ordered a Special Chow Mein. It was swimming in oil. Completely inedible. Where are the noodles? Meat chewy. Vile.
Wouldn't normally order from here,wish I hadn't...I wont be having food from here in the future..£24, salt and pepper ribs like rubber chunks, salt and pepper chicken was rubber batter, curry sauce was vile, char sui wasnt good... chips weren't to bad... delivery was good and before time state
Great food at a very reasonable price...during the day as well as the standard fare of bacon sausage egg barns etc there is a selection of foods available varying from cottage pies etc to Chinese beef and mushroom to curries it varies upon the day and you get a hearty helping ....there is also the takeaway menu of an evening which I most certainly can recommend
Not good at all salt and pepper ribs swimming in fat no meat on them all grizzle and got charsui curry horrid best part was the chips and they tasted like the oil was off never again.
