   Did not do the brake fluid change as part of major service. Website clearly shows it is part of the major service. Car bonnet and bumper had oil over it when collected. Screen wash not topped up. No confidence in the quality of the work. Last time I will be using the Halford group.

   Never ever again!!!! First all I had to pay 6£ fee charge for time slot booking (premium **??) for change 4 tyres and front alignment. When I dropped my car off they were already running late. Later the manager came to say that one of my wheel nut was missing which is impossible due I have checked before the service and wasn’t anything missing and in the end after nearly 3 hours waiting in the reception the staff said came up a message on my dashboard which would gone after I started to drive what never happened. Very disappointing I would NEVER recommend this company!!!!!

   Never using them again, just had a mobile tyre replacement at home with Halfords. The technician showed up with a cigarette in his mouth while speaking to me. I politely asked him to check for any puncture or cut since I’ve had slow leaks for two weeks, and he said he would. But after finishing the job, he just left without saying a word or giving any update. No explanation, no follow-up, nothing…

   Quick, efficient and really helpful. After going with no appt after a flat tyre en route to work the guys were really lovely, and I was on the road again within 20 mins. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for such great service

   Arrived to have two new tyres fitted, lad in the office advised me to go home and book online as I’d save myself some money ( not many places would do that ) booked online for a few days later. National was nearly £80 cheaper for what I wanted than someone else locally. Arrived at my time slot, car was in and out in half an hour. Also very surprised they didn’t try and sell me any extras that I’d supposedly need, another local well known tyre place tried that with me, when I knew full well my car didn’t need what they said was needed. I was hesitant to try national for that exact reason but everything went fine. Will be back in the new year for a service!

   Had tyres fitted at our home address for convenience. First fitter to attend did not balance the tyres correctly and damaged 2 of the alloys. After several phone calls and emails they have agreed to sort damaged alloys. We are still left out if pocket and will be without a car for a couple of days while the repair takes place. Going to a national company you would hope the the job would be completed to a high standard and not left with damage to the vehicle.

   Had previously taken my car to National Tyre whenever I had problems with my tyres but after my two most recent visits I noticed they put on a warranty I didn't ask for on my bill. This was never requested by myself and the mechanic didn't even say the work had a warranty, how long the work was covered for etc. (sadly I only spotted it on my bill later) As this was somewhere I'd used for a number of years I'm very disappointed to see a supposed 'trusted brand' treat their loyal customers like this. Thankfully I've not used a local independent tyre garage that is way better value. AVOID
