   Very upsetting experience from the owner, Keith. He was aggressive, rude and even insulted me multiple times over the phone when I was trying to have a professional conversation about my car. I don’t normally write bad reviews but this experience was so bad I couldn’t not. I strongly encourage anyone to avoid using this garage at all costs.

   Very upsetting service from the owner, Keith. I would not recommend. They fit us in and all very friendly to work on the car. After the work was done to the steering and drive shaft we've been having problems with the power steering, which Keith has told me is due to poor maintenance of the car and nothing to do with them when I've never had problems with steering before they looked at it. He then told me he couldn't get me back in and to use another garage before telling me to leave and walked off. Do not use this garage.

   Quite an upsetting experience with the owner. I only ever write positive reviews but I feel compelled to write this. I brought my car in a week ago and explained that I needed the Front brake pads and discs replacing. I had brought in the printout from my last MOT (with a different garage) which said that they had replaced the Rear brake pads and discs at the time so they didn’t need doing. I said it was quite urgent as I was going on a long trip the next Thursday morning. Keith said that’s fine. Bring it in on Wednesday and he’ll be able to do it. I brought it in this morning. I got a call from him saying that he needed to replace the Rear pads discs and calipers. He said he had the online MOT report in front of him and that it said that the other garage had replaced the Front pads and discs, not the Rear like I’ve told him. I said I had the report in front of me and that it said the Back so they must’ve written it down wrong on mine (see picture). He said that it would be a push to do it today. I reminded him that when I booked it in, I’d told him I was going away the next morning, so could he do it today. He said that they were being put under a lot of pressure to do it today. I said that when I originally booked it in if he thought he couldn’t complete it in a day then I would have looked around for another garage that could. Before I could finish the sentence, he interrupted me and said that he “didn’t think I was going to be like this coming in and cracking the whip.” I asked him when is the latest today I could come in and pick it up. He said “you don’t tell him when it gets done I’m the garage manager, I tell you when it gets done.” He also said that I was “someone who can’t even read an MOT correctly”. He then said either come pick it up and pay for the hour of labour, or the work will get done by tomorrow morning. I was pretty upset at that point, so I just said that I’d come pick it up. I collected it without incident and he said he wouldn’t charge me for the labour.

   First time I have used this garage. My mot was overdue and they fitted me in really quickly. After 2 hours they said it had all been done and passed with a couple of advisory's. Couldn't believe it was done so quickly - usually my car ends up being in the whole day even when nothing needs doing - so I was very impressed. Keith was friendly and helpful. He explained the advisory's and suggested time frame. I felt the garage were trustworthy and helpful and made me feel comfortable. I will definitely be using them again.

   Extremely honest and thorough garage. They genuinely have your best interests at heart. Prices are fair, the work is stellar, the staff are lovely. Best garage in Romiley, and I wouldn't dream of taking a car anywhere else.
