   Excellent service! vehicle was collected from my home address for its MOT appointment on time! and returned promptly to my home address on completion. Couldn't have ask for better service. Would highly recommend them to anyone! They are now my goto local garage Will be using them again!

   I have used LM for many years, i recently rang for service and brakes checked and asked if work could be completed by early afternoon as i needed it for an appt ? i was told yes if dropped off early. I dropped car off at 8am i watched Richard open up. Later at 1pm i rang for an update as normally they would ring with any further issues that needed attention. I was told the car was on the ramp and would be ready by 4pm, it was in for a service 1.5 hrs work. I complained that i had needed the car and why had it taken so long. I had to get taxi's to from an appt which was at 15:30pm. I went to collect car at 16:30pm. The only work completed on the car was the service and they had a list of 5 advisories small jobs which included my brakes !! (normally i would be phoned and told about these issues if i wanted them sorted but no call made to me about them) so just to confirm they had my car 8 hours to complete 1.5 hrs work and returned it with a list of advisories that should of been sorted normally. I asked Richard (the boss) about this he gave me an excuse that he had cars on the ramp and requests for work done asap usually are noted and mine was not (trying to suggest i did not request the work done asap which i did) LM should of advised me (a paying customer) that there was going to be a delay with the work and i could of decided to continue or cancel. POOR communication and not even an apology. The workload you are taking on is obviously to much and if so you should advise your customers accordingly as your customer service is suffering because of it. The response below says it all, not an explanation why i was not informed about the 5 advisories including the brakes which i asked you to check, whilst car still on the ramp? why didn't you phone me and ask if i wanted the work to be done to correct them, i now need to book to get advisories sorted elsewhere another day off work Easy get out with an apology, its basic customer service i will not be using LM again

   I took my car too Lansdowne Motors it had a banging coming from the engine and they diagnosed what the issue was straight away. It sounded like a Tank. Everyone looked at me when driving pedestrian and drivers a like. However Rick and his team solved the problems. The car is purring like a kitten now. Thank you Rick and your team. I recommend my sister too go there two year's ago and she won't go anywhere else now. So thank you again. Lansdowne Motors

   Had a service done and was quite happy with it but had some advisories needed doing asked them to give me a price I’ve waited well over 3 weeks phoned them 3 times and still waiting not professional at all now looking for a more reliable garage

   Cannot fault them. Very fair, not interested in ripping you off – just getting you sorted as easily as possible. Totally professional, friendly, efficient and has proven this over many years going there. Only garage my partner will go to – she swears by and feels very comfortable dealing with them. Can only highly recommend.
