    I cannot recommend this place enough. Mike is an absolute legend. This is the third time I have used this garage, as Mike has never let me down and it feels like he has always done what he can to help. My brakes failed on my car. I dropped it off with them in the morning, without an appointment, and the guys made sure I was back on the road that evening. I couldn't praise them enough. We had a camping trip booked when this happened and Mike was really understanding, we managed to go camping that same day thanks to these guys.     These guys really know Volvos and are absolutely fantastic - very capable & a pleasure to deal with! I took my Mk2 XC90 in with a creaking and groaning steering system that my trusted local garage was unable to resolve, and that the official Volvo franchise in Stoke then (wrongly) diagnosed as a faulty steering rack which they then offered to replace for over £2,000!!! I declined… After ALOT of online research I called Hallmark who immediately put me at ease asking smart questions and stressing that they’d investigate to find solutions rather than skipping straight to an expensive part replacement. Which is exactly what they actually did - They throughly investigated, found the issues, clearly explained what they were and then did the work. Replacing a ball joint and then finding a smart workaround to save me £250 on a brake backing plate! The pricing was very fair, transparent and a mere fraction of what the main dealer wanted from me. Very highly recommended - I won’t take my Volvo anywhere else from now on.
