   Brought my car in for a new cam belt picked it up and drove it home to find the coolant to be empty due to a hose not being connected. Couple of days later had a rattle and knocking noise coming from the engine had it looked at by my local garage to be told 2 bolts missing from bracket near the cam belt. Would not recommend them

   I’m the owner of a smart for two. Had a engine failure and German specialist took it on when other garages were not that confident with smart cars. They had the car up and running within a couple of days. Rob was amazing he explained in layman terms what needed to be done and it was. Thanks to the mechanics that worked on my car also.

   When I had my cambelt replaced here, when I picked up the van, I realised that there was a loud knocking noise on the engine. I dropped it back off for them to have it checked twice, second time on the trailer. First time they said there was no noise, second time they tried to blame it on the flywheel and told me they have no ramp to change the flywheel. I went to a different garage, i had new clutch kit fitted and the same knocking noise persists. I ended up going to a different garage to check the timing and they found that the camshaft timing was half a tooth out. It’s shocking how these mechanics messed it up, not even checked if the timing was right.

   I booked my car with German Car Specialists for a diagnostics check, hoping to get to the root of an issue. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. Despite leaving the car with them for diagnostics, they couldn’t identify the actual problem. Instead, they advised me to replace parts that were already replaced at the main dealer just a month ago — clearly a sign that proper investigation wasn't done. To make matters worse, they charged me more than initially quoted, without a clear explanation. I expected a more professional and transparent service, especially from a specialist garage. Based on this experience, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend them for diagnostics.

   My car was damaged whilst with German Specialists and they have taken zero accountability for it. Not their problem as far as they are concerned. I've been using them for years and even recommended them to friends and family. They are a tad expensive but I didn't mind as I thought they would take care of my vehicle. It's a shame this is how they treat loyal customers. I won't be going there again and would warn others away too.

   100% recommend taking your car here! A* customer service provided. Took my Mercedes Benz A class here around a month ago as I had an electrical fault come up. They managed to fix the issue for a much cheaper price then Mercedes would’ve charged me. Will definitely be back for MOT+service, Thankyou! ⭐️

   Car came back worse!!! Asked before getting wheel alligment, should i get new tyres first as i needed them??? I know nothing, I'm not a mechanic... Convinced to get wheel aligment first, car comes back pulling more! They said it could be my tyres, ring us back once tyres done. Long story short, they want to charge me again after taking there advice! I feel I've paid for nothing. After complaining for a resolution as I've paid for a job to be done, there was no interest on there part to rectify the problem. Will not use again.

   Other Garages did not want to replace the heater matrix on my Golf Gtd,as the job was too complicated! Chris at German Specialist cars gave me a quote over the phone booked the car in and on the day did a brilliant job of sorting the problem and getting the car back to me by the middle of the afternoon ,keeping me informed of the progress during the day . Chris clearly is an expert when it comes to sorting problems with German cars! The price charged was as quoted with a light bulb being fitted for free. No hesitation in recommending this garage 100% Jeff
