   I booked my car in with Mills Hill MOT centre for 7 January for a service & MOT i clearly pointed out to Mr Paul Johnson my car had a serious defect ( When i apply my breaks a Thudding noise presents & the car shakes) ,my car failed its MOT on 7th as i expected it would i then took my car back to them for a retest on 14 Jan & it did pass ( how is beyond me & also beyond 2 other mechanics who ive taken my car to for advice) . The defect had not been checked & the problem continued so i complained & my car went back to them ,they blamed it in " The Tryes" it needs to front Tyres so i replaced them ,the problem was just as bad i complained again & at some point in Feb my car went back for the second time,this time they said it needed Tracking ( something what should have been done previously) ,i wasn't charged for the Tracking ,but the defect still continued so i took my car to another local mechanic who confirmed my car needed 2 Bushes & 2 Suspension arms cost £320. & again brought this to the attention of Paul Jrn at Mills Hill, i put my complaint in writing & the usual followed argumentertive & bomb astic attitude ( he wouldn't dare speak to a Bloke in this demeanour) But he agreed to replace the Bushes free of charge & was man enough to admit " he must have missed them at the MOT" he ( Paul Johnson) agreed to carry out the work provided i remove my previous review which i did & stipulated this would be the end of the matter. I was in total agreement. On collecting my car from Mills Hill THE PROBLEM/ ISSUE/ DEFECT WAS STILL THE SAME . Nothing had changed. So yet again i took my car along to another Mechanic ( Local) who after driving my car for less than 5 miniuts concluded the fault is with the Breaks, steering AND FRONT DRIVERS SIDE SUSPENTION On Countless occasions i asked Paul Johnson to Drive my car because this is the only way he would be able to detect the fault. Yet AGAIN Iv'e put in writing my complaint & concerns to Paul Johnson & proposed i'm willing to pay for the Labour providing he pays for the parts i consider my proposal to be more than fair, as yet to date hes not responded . I am aged nearly 74, im disabled & not in very good health i feel Mills Hill MOT centre are a absolute disgrace & totally incompetent to make ONE mistake fair enough it happens & its allowed hes only human but THREE Mistakes & my cars STILL got the defect & its seriously worse than ever. After driving for 52 years i KNOW when theres something not right with the Suspension . Ive made it clear i dont want something for nothing . I depend on my car 100% its my independance . If Paul Johnson doesn't respond to my letter Dated 14 4 21 within 7 days i will be taking Legal Action ive already contacted Motoring Ombudsman & ive been advised i have a Excellent legal grounds to proceed with my complaint. This ( as ive explained to Paul Johnson ) is my LAST resort i do not want to have to persue this through the courts . Mr Paul Johnson is 100% in the wrong & he needs to man up & accept his actions & NO i WONT be removing this review . Ive not lied,ive no reason to lie & discredit the Mans Business & Livelyhood,. Im not a mean person or nasty All i want is my car repairing nothing else.

   I have always found the staff to be very helpful and friendly, and they haven't tried to sell me any thing that wasn't needed, but if I needed a job doing they would tell me the best time to get it done.

   I have had my BMW for 7 years. The past 6 years I took it to a garage I trust, for an MOT and service. Unfortunately, this year my MOT was running out soon so I decided to take it to a garage close to my work place. That was Mills Hill Motors! They left the car in an absolute mess.! There was thick oil all over the engine and radiator cover and running down some of the pipes. The air intake pipe was left hanging, and because it was made with some sort of fabric, had absorbed a lot of the spilled oil. I could not clean it so had to buy another one for £35. On top of that, after their "service" on the car it started making whining noises when I was turning sharp right. I took it to another garage and they told me that the Power Steering fluid was not filled up correctly! Will I be going to Mills Hill Motors again? Not even if you paid me! Kip Saif
