   I have been going to Al's when they where across the road before their new shop with my children when they were little, my eldest is 42 now and I still go, always greeted by Sue and Alan, always friendly, their food is always top notch no matter what you order, my eldest even goes since she has. had her own family

   I'm sure this is as good as the reviews say but my experience was of really greasy chips, the order was wrong and didn't seem to have been started until I arrived, although I phoned up the order and was told 20mins, which is when I arrived.....anyway it's your choice...good luck
