Fabulous, friendly service and well priced. Andy is the first person I have found that I trust to do a thorough job at a price that reflects the quality of the work. He is helpful and will talk you through what he's done along with showing you what has been removed or replaced. I highly recommend him for any automotive work. Good local garage. Had a range of repairs / work done over the years. From replacing battery , to full service, it is a honest work every time.
You can't get a more honest mechanic than Andy. I thought I had four issues with the car - two were advisories from the MOT and a clutch I thought was failing. Andy took a look at them all and advised I only needed a brake pipe repair, the other three issues didn't need looking at for another year. So it cost me £60 instead of the hundreds I was expecting and which Andy could so easily have told me I needed to spend.
A very trustworthy garage that provides a great service. Andy is the owner and is just an all-round nice guy that is very honest.
I have been using Andy for I think around 5 years now, every time supremely happy with the level of service and quality of work. He has undertaken all kinds of work for me and each time has delivered. I used to use the spanners myself so I know an organised mechanic if they have an engine stripped down on the bench, I can see how he or she works. And if all the parts have been degreased and are laid out in a certain following order, the mechanic knows what he or she is doing and is logical and methodical in his or her work. Luckily I clocked this probably the second or third time I was in his workshop, so knew what I had here was someone who knows what he's up to. So if you're after knowing that you're dealing with a trustworthy and friendly mechanic, want someone who will only use quality parts and want to make dealing with a garage as easy as possible, go see this guy. I'm lucky enough that I know of 4 or 5 other good garages in the local area, but I've not had any need whatsoever to use them in the last few years and I don't see that changing.
