First and last time eating here salt and pepper box should just be called salt Box , ive never seen food glisten just off the amount of salt, literally inedible so i paid £21 to eat 1 chip
Ordered a salt n pepper box and a few other things for delivery, took over an hour and a half bearing in mind it says on the website 60 min for delivery. rang 2 times, first time i got told its the next one out then rang up 20 min later and got told its getting made now? food gets delivered with no apology from the driver for the delay. found a black hair under a rib in the salt n pepper box bearing in mind neither me or my girlfriend have black hair… rang up and asked for a replacement to get delivered and. got told it would be a while so i said i’ll come get it and the owner nancy was trying to blame me for putting the hair there then she gave me a new one and i asked for my £2.50 delivery money back for the inconvenience and she argued with me until i said give me my money back and the delivery money and she hid in the kitchen and her employee said “your not getting your money for delivery” i said give me my refund and they gave me it after fighting. very poor attitude terrible service i will be informing food hygiene just so they can monitor
On a visit to Liverpool my grandsons recommended a takeaway from here. We had chicken chow mein with king prawn satay, chilli and garlic special and duck and veg spring rolls. Everything was delicious. Nice staff and good value.
Service fine. Food was good, the peas were neon green (I try not to think about what was in them) but tasted good! It's chippy food so for what it was, it was tasty. Cash only which was a pain but not a surprise as the 2 other chippies in the vicinity were the same.
this is the best chippy in the uk love it so much the food is amazing and it is just so iconic
Great chippy. Would recommend it. Whatever I have ordered it's always been very tasty and hot. The portions are large. It's not the nearest to me but worth the extra mile.
Food is always stunning, I'm a frequent customer and the food is so so nice every single time. Orders are always correct and take a reasonable time to be delivered. Best Donner Kebab & Salt & pepper chips I've ever had.. would definitely recommend. Would be nice if they threw in some free prawn crackers though.
Tiny portions missing items never coming here again, first and last time £15 quid two fish and chips missing gravey and curry basically 7.5 for that tiny portion
Had a delivery from the blue star tonight. £18 for the family meal deal which is a great deal. I ordered a burger and the salad was all brown. The only thing that could make this a 5 is the delivery. I waited an hour and a half when it should have been here a lot earlier
