Went in to get my tyres assessed due to dry rot in one of them. I was intending to replace all 4 but he encouraged me to only replace the rear two and to continue with the front as they were fine. Tyres were ordered and fitted a few hours later. Good value, fast service and honest. Will definitely return in future.
Had a slow puncture due to a screw in a nearly new tyre. I couldn't get anyone to look it due to heavy bookings but I rang Tyre & Auto Whitefield and they told me to bring the car in straight away which I did. 20 minutes later the puncture was repaired for £20.00 which was much cheaper than other quotes I had received. All round excellent service and thoroughly recommended !
Exceptional service from Mike and the team! I had a slow puncture in my back left run flat tyre which I took to National first to have it looked at and get a quote. They advised it couldn't be fixed due to the placement of the nail which was causing the puncture. Instead, they told me a replacement run flat tyre would cost £310 minimum (which seemed crazy!). Rather than do that immediately, I wanted to check in with somewhere local to compare prices. I took my car to Mike where he inspected and told me that those prices were outrageous. Once he had looked at it, he said that I didn't even necessarily need run flats, but National never bothered to mention that and tried upselling me massively. In the end, Mike and the team replaced BOTH my back tyres for a total of £160 all in, double the tyres for half the price and great service at the same time. The tyres were B grade grip and on par quality with Pirrelli tyres. Overall, very happy and couldn't recommend Mike enough if you need new tyres. Ordered them and fitted next day, only took 1 hour to do the work. Thanks very much!
Really reliable mechanics. I use them for services and MOT too. They will tell you the truth and don't charge any more than is needed. Also they have always managed to get my car back to me asap.
I needed 2tyres urgently to get through MOT. Within 2 hours of phoning this company I had the tyres fitted and the car back at the MOT station. Brilliant first class service!
Nice enough guys but poor experience here unfortunately. Had tyre replaced after puncture. Didnt bother explaining they couldnt balance tyre as machine was down. I do high mileage daily on motorway. Led to lots of vibration when doing 60/70+. Told to call back next week. Did so, machine still not fixed but did say if i brought it in tomorrow he'd sort the balancing at another garage (problem is i couldnt make it tomorrow and theyre too busy today). Sorted balancing elsewhere (more cost to me) after doing 300+miles in unbalanced tyres with vibration which obviously isnt great for the car/tyres !
I was very well received. They changed my tire effectively. 5 star service. I will definitely go back. Nice people, nice price. Great Job
My rear window wiper fell off / someone stole it. I had bought two separate vipers to try and replace myself but no matter what I did it wasn’t working. I asked family to help me with it who couldn’t do it because the bolts were all rusted. I brought my car in and the kind gentleman started repairing it straight away. He spent nearly 30 minutes happily and kindly repairing it because the viper and bolt was directly attached to the glass of my car and was all rusted so it needed to be done gently. In the end, he replaced it successfully and he didn’t even charge me for this. He fixed my car whilst I had parked it outside in the rain so I am extremely grateful for the help on such short notice and would’ve been happy to pay for this service. Thus, I am leaving a fitting five star review. Lovely garage with even lovelier people in it. Thank you
