Lambs have been great with us for years, they’ve helped us many a time with issues with our car. I Couldn’t recommend them enough.
I’ve just recommended Lamb’s to another family member and realised that I have never left a google review for them. What can I tell you about Lamb’s? Well, they are a three generation family run business and three generations of my family have gone to them religiously, my papa, gran, mum, sister, me, my partner, sister in law… the list goes on. I have had numerous cars over the years and they will troubleshoot and get to the bottom of any problem where other garages can’t. They are hard working, trust worthy and reliable and their prices are very reasonable. They don’t need good reviews, they are always so busy and that speaks for itself. But this review is really a thank you from me, as a good reliable garage is hard to come by.
Went there for to repair my breaks of my toyota auris 2007, but couldn't get an appointment as there was lot of works pending for them. The place looks fine and big and they mainly focus on MOT. I don't think they charge that much for the work I can't make a good suggestion as I'm not familiar that much. Anyway the ratings are high and the services wasn't that much as predicted.
Lets start. I took my car to Lambs and after checking the car with diagnostic they said issue is fuel related which is fine l know that. They gave me a date after 5 days and said repairs usually finishes on yhe same day again that was fine for me. I rented car for those days. On the day l took my car to the garage and after half hour they called me and said l need to change the clutch before they do any job on the car and my clutch was already replaced less then a year ago. It felt bit hard when u press it when l took thw car to them and l mentioned to them if they can check the clutch incase. Straight away yound mechanic said u need to change the clutch, same time other staff repeated same thing. They said they cant replace the clutch in their garage and said they are closed friday as well. Excuses. I took the car straight went to ANA tyres and exhousts and mechanic used the car on the road and said clutch is fine ( what a joke from Lambs hey). Person who drive my car is owner of the garage and he has got ovet 20 years experience. Now ANA garage fixing the car. I am not making and advertisement here by using the shop name instead pointing who is bullshtting who is doin proper job. Using this company never ever. I put a comment on their facebool website but hurray somehow they removed it. They didnt like it but lm being honest here. Wasting my 5 days then doing nothing on top my clutch is gone. Which was not true as well. They hope google doesnt remove this comment. They are admin in their facebook page but hope not here. Fair reviews.
Really nice Car service. Fair prices , really honest as well. I had a car that was not worth repairing and they advise me to change it when they could easily make some £ with me. This will be my service for now on as long as I am around Stockport/Manchester area. Thank you guys for this.
Great team here,open and honest about prices and work actually needed. Always happy to help and give free advice. Well recommended. Only place I take my car for an MOT now
