   David carried out a service and a brake repair to my vehicle. He kept me informed of progress throughout the day and explained his findings. He made sure I was happy for the work to progress and didn't just take it for granted. All work was completed professionally and in a timely manner.

   Very expensive!!Choose it if you want to get ripped apart!! Working as a doctor in the nearby hospital I had a problem with my Citroen C3 (2004 model) which occured last December and had previously tried to rectify it in another garage without success. I left the car to Tony who seemed professional and he eventually repaired it with second-hand items as this would have costed much less which I understood. The total bill was 520 pounds!! Anyway I paid them but after one week returning from a short journey in Oswestry the engine exploded in the middle of the motorway! When I visited garage Tony advised me that nothing can be done and the car should be scrapped. Also that the problem that occured now was irrelevant to the one before... When I left the car to be repaired at first instance I told him to examine the whole engine and tell me whether the car is justified for repair. Having paid 520 pounds and resulting in a scrapped car is far less than ideal... It seems that he only repaired the problem with the plugs and thats all...Didnot bother examining the rest of the car. From other doctors in hospital I found out that he has a reputation as a very expensive garage. So my advice is: AVOID IF YOU DONT WANT TO GET FINANCIALLY RIPPED OFF!

   Keep using these guys for my MOT each year and any other issues. Just recently they fixed my wife's alloy wheel which had corrosion causing a not so slow leak. I was so impressed by the result I had both my rear alloys done too as they were losing air as well. Couldn't be happier with the service, always honest, helpful and get the job done.

   Thank you to Tony and everyone at MOT Express who helped me in a difficult situation after I hit a curb lat week and broke the suspension on my Audi A4. They came out within the hour to recover the car and had it repaired within 24 hours. Service was faultless throughout.

   My roof failed on my convertible Audi A4. I took it to a few garages and they simply didn't know how to fix it. I rang Audi and the bill, just to investigate it was likely to be huge. Tony at MOT Express took the car in and worked on it all day. Finally, several parts were replaced and it's worked great ever since. The bill was very reasonable and I haven't been anywhere else since. I now take our Range Rover Sport and our daughter's Fiat 500 there as I think their general knowledge of multiple makes and models is exceptional.

   Horrible experience. Took my car to them to have a faulty oxygen sensor changed. They changed it but the error light came back on again the same day. They then said that my catalyst 'is most likely ruined and needs changing'. I asked whether they can test it and they said no. With some knowledge (and tons of reading) I insisted that the fault cannot be due to a failing catalyst. Took it to another garage to have it inspected. It turns out that the catalyst can be tested and it was working fine. More importantly, they checked the sensors that were fitted and turned out they were cheap no-name knock offs with no serial numbers on them (despite constant reassurance that they use Denso sensors). They had charged me for proper high quality sensors. Took it back to them again. They checked it, said they 'found a hole in the exhaust and fixed it' which again sounded incorrect. After speaking with some people it turns out they already had a reputation so I suggest you avoid them
